Resveratrol is a naturally occurring phytoalexin produced by some higher plants, i.e. plants with advanced structure and methods of reproduction. Resveratrol is a reaction to stress caused by damage, fungal infections or the consequences of environmental pollution, so it is a defensive substance that becomes active when threatened. Resveratrol is a derivative of stilbene, which belongs to the group of plant polyphenols, which are widely recognized as ingredients with an exceptionally beneficial effect on health.

The richest source of trans resveratrol is Japanese knotweed.

Resveratrol is also a valuable ingredient of dark grape juice. It can also be found in wine, especially red. Due to the unique properties of this compound, the search for its new sources is still ongoing.

What does micronization mean?

In this case, micronization means reducing the particles of the loose form of the extract to such sizes that its absorption by our body is easier, faster and therefore more effective.

Micronized powder particles are 100 to 200 times smaller than the particles of regular extract. Their size is in the range of 1-4 microns. Most available micronized preparations are in the range of 149-224 microns. The absorption of this form of preparation is approximately 200% times greater than that of regular trans resveratrol.

Ingredients: Japanese knotweed root and rhizome extract, filler: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, capsule: plant cellulose.

How to use:  1 capsule a day.

Notes: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplements cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the preparation. The preparation should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women and children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
