Brand new for 2023, True is proud to introduce the next generation of great goalie sticks, the True Catalyst 9X3 Senior Goalie Stick! The all-new Catalyst 9X3 is a lightweight composite stick built to be more responsive, with a stiffer paddle, increased playability and optimized durability. Key upgrades in design and technology have lead to the 9X3 coming in at a whopping 45 grams lighter than the previous generation 9X!

Starting at the blade and paddle, the Catalyst 9X3 features True’s proven Focused Resin Flow (RESFLO) technology that minimizes voids throughout the blade and paddle, which results in a stronger, more consistent laminate. Also returning on the Catalyst stick is the patent pending Vibration Suppression System (VSS) at the shoulder of the stick, designed to provide the perfect balance of feel and comfort while making stick saves. An all-new foam core in the blade adds exceptional compaction to the laminate which maximizes strength and minimizes weight; while Braided Aramid Tech (BAT) offers a stronger, lightweight blade with increased damping properties. Finally, a braided 6 rib design throughout the blade and paddle allows for a thinner, lightweight blade with increased durability.

The Catalyst 9X3 features an optimized mid-kick profile with a stiffer paddle and stronger shaft for easier, faster loading times and more powerful clearances.

Up to the shoulder and shaft of the 9X3 True has returned to a square shaft and a standard shoulder shape for a similar geometry to the HZRDUS that proved to be incredibly well-received.

Finally, throughout the True Catalyst 9X3, True’s Precision Laminate Design (PLD) optimizes the angles of the carbon fiber layers throughout the shaft, which offers increased impact strength and optimal stiffness while reducing the weight of the stick.
