Vinedos de Altura is one of those talented, progressive cooperatives, with 90-year-old Garnacha vines in the mountains of Calatayud. Following manual harvest to ensure the highest quality, this wine is an excellent expression of the region.
TASTING NOTES
A captivating, deep cherry hue entices the eye. The aroma melds an enticing medley of dark fruits and ripe red berries with superb minerality, warm spices, and aromatic balsamic undertones. Twelve months in French oak barrels lend complexity, giving way to a luscious, full-bodied experience. The palate is rounded and vibrant, with refreshing elegance and silky tannins.
