During the Secret Wars on Battleworld, Spider-Man came into possession of the black costume
after his red-and-blue costume was destroyed. It would later turn out this powerful costume was
the symbiote. The virus too over many people in the Marvel Universe since it first appeared, most
notably Eddie Brock after he decided to seek revenge on Spider-Man for getting him fired. The
symbiote virus gives the person it occupies incredible strength and speed as well as the terrifying
ability to elongate their jaw, displaying huge teeth and a long, prehensile tongue.
Continuing with the theme, Venom has been designed standing atop an exploding base, capturing a
frozen snapshot of an epic battle. Every inch of this statue has been expertly sculpted with a realistic
approach, from the texturing of the skin to the eerie pearlescent eyes. The team at Sideshow
Collectibles have described this as a 'modern monster incarnation of Venom.'
The Premium Format Venom stands at approximately 24" tall. The quality of this statue has to be
seen to be believed.
