Superior wear resistance
The ObXidian nozzle offers wear resistance that is many times higher than other E3D nozzles. It is extremely durable and therefore ideal for printing abrasive or filled polymers. This is achieved by combining a tool steel insert with our new E3DLC™ coating. This specially formulated coating also gives the nozzle non-stick properties, resulting in significantly less plastic buildup around the nozzle.
