Features
Curved Screen Putting you at the centre of the action, curved monitors give the impression of wrapping around you as they allow you to see more of the screen from a single point. This creates a seriously immersive experience, particularly when using more than one monitor at a time.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) HDR aims to improve the image quality of PC monitors by increasing the overall brightness, enabling a more noticeable colour gamut and a bigger dynamic range between whites and blacks also resulting in more vivid reds, blues and greens. With HDR, videos and games look lifelike and more closely mimic the light spectrum a human eye perceives. There is significantly more 'pop' in a quality HDR picture than on standard screens. On your piXL monitor, you will need to change the settings in the menu to turn HDR on.
AMD FreeSync Monitors that support AMD's FreeSync variable refresh rate technology synchronise the panel's refresh rate with the frame rate produced by a graphics card. This then produces silky smooth gaming without stutter and screen tears. For FreeSync gaming, you'll need to check you've got a supported AMD graphics card and connect to the monitor using DisplayPort. On your piXL monitor, you will need to change the settings in the menu to turn FreeSync on.
NVIDIA G-Sync NVIDIA'S G-SYNC technology, like AMD FreeSync, automatically synchronises the panel's refresh rate with the current frame rate being produced by the graphics card to remove stutter and screen tearing. Most modern NVIDIA GPUs support G-SYNC from GT 1050 and above, but check to make sure yours does. On your piXL monitor, make sure your graphics card is connected via DisplayPort and go to "Extra" in the monitor menu where the option to turn G-Sync on or off will appear (you may also need to turn FreeSync on). If the G-Sync option does not appear, the graphics card is not compatible
144Hz/ 165Hz This refers to the screen's refresh rate, the speed at which the screen reacts to changing colours and movement. If you're playing action games and high-resolution videos, having a 144Hz high refresh rate (double that of standard screens) or 165Hz means you get crisp, clear images without screen stuttering or blurring of images. On your piXL monitor, you will need to go into the monitor menu and select the refresh rate you want to use. Please note, if AMD FreeSync or NVIDIA G-Sync are activated, a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz is available.

Wonderful introduction to kink. Enjoy!

Anna Stone's latest book is stand-alone and the first in a series that I expect will feature 4 stand-alone novels. Each book will probably focus on another partner in the group of owners of the sapphic kinky nightclub - Club Velvet.
As is often the case with Stone's book, the plot introduces an inexperienced submissive young woman and a jaded, very experienced, dominant older woman (in this case she's only in her 30's). As often is the case, there's chemistry, the younger woman discovers her sexuality with the help of the older woman, and from one kinky session to another their feelings for each other deepen.
You can call it a pattern, or a trope, a recurring theme, or whatever.
However, let me point out that despite the (many) similarities, each and every one of Stone's books presents the same idea in a different light, depicting the characters with different backgrounds that offer different obstacles in the relationship. Stone doesn't fall into the cliche of an author who recreates the same story again and again. Rather, she presents us, her readers, with a recurring opportunity to learn more about the world of kink and to gain more understanding and insight into the intricacies and delicacies of a kinky relationship.
While not all her stories present an introductory level of BDSM, many of them do, and by that Stone is doing the kink community a great service. She presents respect, mutual consent, attentive partners, immaculate aftercare, and overall a very attractive depiction of kinky relationships.
So, this book falls into the introductory criteria and it is done very well. I have read all of Stone's previous books and I love her writing but in this book, in particular, I felt the inner monologues and the emotional hurdles were justified and created great conflicts. Those conflicts were resolved through honest and open communication, and through self-work, supported by the other MC, and that's true for each of the MCs who both had demons to deal with.
I love seeing a resolution brought about by a joint effort and through open communication and this sealed the deal for me.

Totally engaging story!

Here’s the thing about writing reviews. I sometimes feel that I keep writing the same thing. But what I try to express is whether I enjoyed the story. If I felt the characters had chemistry. If the dialogue and narrative held my interest. If the scenes flowed and moved the story on at a good pace. If not, I typically make notes along the way. When I finished this story, as I have with a few other books, I found that I had not made one comment. You know why? Because I enjoyed the characters, the dialogue, the narrative and the storyline. No spoilers from me, remember. But I will sneak in a comment about the sex scenes—hot! I loved the power dynamic and play scenes. I also need a day or so to recover from a story that held me hostage, in a good way. Just sayin’.

Oh My Anna Has Done It AGAIN

I have been a hard core Anna Stone fan from the first book I read by her...Behind Closed Doors....then I picked up Being Hers the first of the Irresistible Bound series! I fell in love with Vanessa and Mel so deeply I couldn't stop falling deeper in the world that Anna created with her Liliths Den ladies! I devoured her next Mistresses Series even more so then the first. When she told me she was moving to LA with a new set of Ladies I was excited to see what she was going to do and I have to say Club Velvet is even more alluring then Liliths Den and this new set of Ladies I love them all already!!!
Simone is even more alluring then Camilla was for me and I fell hard for Camilla! I love that she was straight to protective with Jade from the start but not overly so. Simone is sweet and demanding and just perfection rolled into the perfect package and just what Jade needed! Both were afraid of falling and giving up that trust and vulnerability of falling in love because of past wrongs and being shown how devastating it can be when its given to the wrong person. The way they handled it just broke my heart for the slight misunderstanding that could have been avoided by trusting each other. But once again Anna has brought fourth just the right conflict for our ladies to get through while also building their characters to a level of complete understanding that only she can do.
I love Jade and Simone and can't wait for hopefully Valerie with her Nanny next **fingers crossed** and hopefully even a wonderfully meet up with Vanessa and Mel! Both Olivia and Elle also excite me to learn more of them!
