Making the Cut is stocked full of close up magic that will entertain and baffle laymen, as well as tricks that will make the magicians you know shake their heads. Ryan does a great job explaining the effects in the book and the illustrations make every move clear. In between the tricks, you will find Ryan's thoughts on performance, magic and some useful information for those who perform 'in the trenches.'

Contents include:

The Pivotal Peek -This is the move Ryan is most known for. This is a great peek done while holding the deck in a modified peek position. The move is invisible and is well described. Ryan goes on to describe two effects using the Peek.

When In Doubt, Read a Palm -A great opener using a palm reading demonstration and a deck of cards

A Lesson in Gravity -A sandwich plot using specially printed cards that Ryan describes how to make.

Fraternal Bond -From a shuffled deck, a magician miraculously predicts the outcome of future events

Sense-sational -An impossible location done with three spectators. The presentation is commercial and the multiple methods used, combine to form an effect even magicians will have a hard time backtracking.

Fing-jit-su -A presentation for Pit Hartling's Finger Flicker routine, described in full with permission.

Sprung & Dagger -A card stab routine done with cards and a rubberband. A great take on the classic plot.

Misfit Queens -A take on a Jon Racherbaumer version of a Hofzinser plot.

Foregone Conclusion -A take on the invisible card plot. Teaches a great control by Jon Racherbaumer (described with permission).

And many more... Effects with name tags, 4 of a kind productions, Frixion pens and more.

Good quality fits 2025 Civic Hybrid
The filters are good quality. I did not find any instructions, but then again, the tube is full of them. Compaitble with 2025 Civic Hybrid. The engine filter have a bit of a chemical smell, but the air cabin filter does not. The cabin filter has an interesting yellow color.

Quality filters for a decent price
The engine filter is model # JMAJ20. I am not sure of the cabin filter model #. I have a 2026 Honda CRV Hybrid 2.0L Sport Touring. These should fit as almost everything matches between the 2025 and 2026. I have not yet needed to swap the filters in the new vehicle. These filters will be stored for future replacement. The filters appear to be well made. This is a decent price fortwo filters. The engine filter's gasket is a little wavy but it should be ok to form fit once inserted into the car. The engine filter is in a retail box without a plastic wrapper but the cabin filter is just a plain cardboard box inside a plastic wrapper. This might be challenging to remember what is in the box later once the filter needs to be replaced unless I write the information onto the box. I am unsure if the lack of a wrapper for the engine filter will affect the filter while stored. I did not notice a smell to these but I am not sensitive to smell. I would get these again.

Great value perfect fit.
At a fraction of the cost of brand name filters, these are an exact match and make it affordable to actually change your filters on a regular basis. Great! Installed on a 2025 CRV hybrid touring.

Solid replacement filters for 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid. Engine and Cabin 2.0L Engine
Good value replacement filter kit. Fits perfect for 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid with 2.0l engine. Fairly easy to install once you know how to access the filters. Center rear of the engine bay and behind the glove box. These are as high a quality as the stock filters. I changed mine at 12300 miles and I waited too long. I should have done them at 10,000 max. The cabin filter maybe could have been stretched a bit but the engine filter could have been changed at 8-10k. I would never wait so long again.
