HISTORY ASPECTS:
The Saab J35 Draken entered Austrian service as a vital air defense interceptor during the late Cold War, providing the nation with a capable supersonic fighter suited to protecting mountainous airspace and maintaining sovereignty. Built by Saab AB, the Draken was adopted by Austria to replace older subsonic aircraft and to ensure credible interception capability against high-speed intrusions. Operating primarily from bases such as Zeltweg, the aircraft served with Jagdgeschwader units tasked with quick-reaction alert duties, airspace policing, and identification missions along Austria’s sensitive borders during a period of shifting European security dynamics.
Throughout its Austrian career, the Draken played an important role in neutrality enforcement and peacetime interception missions. Pilots regularly conducted scrambles to identify unknown or non-compliant aircraft transiting Alpine air corridors, particularly during periods of instability in Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Although Austria remained militarily neutral and the Draken did not participate directly in combat conflicts, the aircraft was heavily involved in heightened air policing operations during the Yugoslav Wars, when regional tensions and nearby military activity demanded increased readiness. These missions underscored the Draken’s importance as a deterrent platform and its effectiveness in maintaining national airspace control without direct engagement.
By 2005, the Austrian Draken fleet approached retirement after decades of dependable service, culminating in the striking 45th Anniversary “Dragon Knights” retirement livery. This special scheme celebrated the legacy of Austrian Draken pilots and ground crews, highlighting the aircraft’s long-standing role in national defense and its reputation for reliability in demanding Alpine conditions. The farewell flights represented both nostalgia and pride, marking the conclusion of supersonic interceptor operations that had defined Austrian air defense for a generation before the transition to newer multirole fighters within the Austrian Air Force.
This 1:72 scale model in the 45th Anniversary “Dragon Knights” retirement livery offers collectors a vivid tribute to one of Europe’s most distinctive Cold War interceptors, combining eye-catching commemorative markings with the historic significance of Austria’s final Draken operations, making it an essential centerpiece for enthusiasts of European air defense aviation.

Nice Scent but Too Early to See Results
I’ve just started using this batana oil, so it’s too early to say if it actually helps with hair growth or thickness. I’ll need to use it consistently for a while before seeing real results. So far, I do like the smell—it has a nice scent and doesn’t feel overwhelming. The oil itself feels nourishing and easy to apply to the scalp and hair. The size is decent for the price, but like most hair treatments, the effectiveness will really depend on long-term use. Pros: Pleasant scent Feels nourishing on hair and scalp Easy to apply Cons: Too early to tell results Overall, it seems promising, but you’ll need to give it time to see if it actually delivers on the hair growth claims.

Great batana oil for hair
Banana oil is so incredible, I will never stop singing its praises. I am prone to dry scalp and have thin, curly hair that needs just the right amount of moisture or it will frizz out. Batana oil has helped restore balance to my scalp and reduced flakes and it adds just enough moisture to my hair. This oil is a great version. It is thick, but not so thick that it doesn't melt in your hands if you rubs them together. I also have not noticed any stickiness or excessive left on my hands that can happen with some Banana oil brands. I do want to note that I usually put the batana oil on my scalp, let it sit for 15-20 minutes then wash it out, if you are going to let it stay in your hair, this may be too heavy for you. Otherwise, a great deal at the list price of $14, since a little goes a long way.

On the fence...
Will be updating review after I have used it for more than a week. But so far here are the pros and cons: Pros: Smells good Seems like a little goes a long way Easy to apply Cons: Not sure if this is because I didn't use Sulfate free shampoo, but felt like with one wash I didn't get all the product out of my hair, so when It dried, it still looked greasy/oily Will be washing my hair again with sulfate free shampoo, then will do another application in another day or so. it says to use 2-3 times a week, so I'll use it 3 times a week for 2 weeks and then come back and update my review. But so far, it seams like a good product and for the money, it's a fair value.

Great For Dry Hair
I've never tried Batana Oil before, so I had no idea what to expect. It's a great oil for my hair. I love that it is all-natural oil and is more like a paste. It spreads easily on my hair. I love that I can put a tiny bit on my finger and rub it directly into my dry scalp. The oil has an interesting but pleasant smell. It's hard to describe. It reminds me a bit of a cross between coffee and cacao, but more nutty and mild. I like it. It's not too strong. The directions say to apply and leave in for 20 minutes, then wash out with a sulfate-free shampoo. I like to leave it in my hair for a day or two before washing it again. It's a great conditioning oil for dry and damaged hair. It might feel heavy on fine or thin hair, but I like it on my medium-thick hair. The only reason I dropped this a star is that I'm dubious of the claim that it promotes hair growth. I think it helps my dry hair from breaking off, but I don't think it can do much for most hair loss. However, for hair conditioning, this is definitely a five star product.
