First French edition of James Bruce’s expedition in Ethiopia!
James Bruce was an 18th-century Scottish voyager known primarily for his scientific discoveries in Ethiopia and Egypt. In 1768, Bruce set off from Alexandria into Ethiopia where he claimed to be the first European to find the source of the Nile River, unknowing that it had previously been found by Portuguese Jesuits.

This work includes descriptions of Ethiopian military and weapons, Abyssinian language and alphabet, Ancient Egyptian antiquities, frescoes, obelisks, and hieroglyphs, costumes and clothing, geography and topography of North Africa, and botanical findings.

This extremely rare set features the French translation of Jean-Henri Castera, as well as the story of Lieut. William Paterson living with the Hottentot people.

At 75, foundation can be a real challenge, too heavy and it settles into fine lines, looking caked on, and it will make you look way older than you are! I've always leaned toward a natural finish anyway, so when I discovered this tinted moisturizer at such a great price I was super happy! For the most part, it delivers. It has a noticeable luminous finish that reads as "shiny" on my skin, and it won't do much to conceal age spots (though honestly, I'm fully aware, that's not what a tinted moisturizer is designed for.) A dab of concealer handles my brown spots and for the shine, a light dusting of mineral powder does the trick. The SPF is of course, a big bonus. If you're an active outdoors person who wants effortless, natural-looking light coverage without the weight of a foundation, this is it.
