Description

St-Émilion Grand Cru 2015, Château TrapaudA beautiful expression of Bordeauxs Right Bank, this Grand Cru from Chteau Trapaud shows off the elegance and depth of Merlot driven St milion. The 2015 vintage was exceptional, and it shines here: dark ruby in the glass, with aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, violets, and a hint of cedar. The palate is rich yet refined, offering layers of black fruit, cocoa, and subtle spice framed by velvety tannins and a long, graceful finish. Certified organic

A beautiful expression of Bordeaux’s Right Bank, this Grand Cru from Château Trapaud shows off the elegance and depth of Merlot-driven St-Émilion. Certified organic since 2009, Château Trapaud focuses on balance and terroir expression, making this a wine that feels both classic and thoughtfully modern. Perfect alongside roast lamb, mushroom dishes, or a simple hunk of aged Comté.

The Larribière family have been stewards of this 15th Century estate for 4 generations. The vineyard is planted to 45-50 year old vines on average with the oldest planted in 1900. They have a total of 15 hectares composed of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, all surrounding the estate on clay-limestone soils.

About the Winery

Château Trapuad is located on the famed Côte of Saint-Émilion, not far from the  legendary Ch. Pavie, Ausone, Valandraud and Pavie Macquin. Trapaud’s 15 hectares are
contiguous – a relatively rare and advantageous vineyard configuration. Being on the Côte, Trapaud’s vineyards beneft from the gentle slopes and clay/limestone soils
which ofer drainage often lacking in Bordeaux. Ch. Trapaud, which dates back to 1471, came into the Larrabiere family in 1927. Over the generations, the estate grew until eventually the current proprietor, 4th generation Béatrice, took over in 1997.

An only child, Béatrice may have been the obvious choice to lead the winery one day but she pursued it out of passion, working alongside her father growing up. She continued her education formally, gaining degrees in agricultural science and enology and then apprenticing in Australia and California. She returned to the family estate in 1995 full of new ideas; by 1997, she convinced her father to allow her to implement her vision for elegant St-Emilion converting to organic farming and modernized the winery. Today she is one of very few women winemakers in St-Emilion, even fewer organically farming, and still fewer with top ratings from reviewers such as James Suckling.

Cute Omegaverse story
Format: Kindle
3.75 stars and 2 for spice. Adorable Omegaverse story about a wedding planner who has to go to a small town to plan a wedding for a movie star. While there, she meets her pack. This covers her struggles of not living there but trying to keep her relationship going with her 3 Alphas. It's a quick read and cute, so I recommend it for people who like light-hearted RH stories.

real good
Format: Kindle
This was a solid read for the ABO universe. The characters are great. The smut scenes were well written. And the town is so cute I want to go there. It didn’t have much character development it just felt like I was getting to the characters as they were getting to know each other.

So sweet
Format: Kindle
It’s so unexpectedly sweet that it sneaks up on you. Each character is so unique and charming. I love the openness and honesty among their pack. It really blows me away how wonderful this omegaverse trope plays out. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Needs editing
Format: Kindle
Cute storyline and promising characters, but the lack of editing is painful to read. I would love to read an edited version.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
