- Center the hydrofoil on the anti-cavitation plate of your outboard or sterndrive motor. Ensure it is positioned correctly for your specific engine model.
- With the hydrofoil held firmly in place, use a marker to mark the locations for the four mounting holes.
- Remove the hydrofoil and carefully drill the four marked holes through the cavitation plate. Start with a smaller pilot bit if necessary.
- Place the rubber gaskets between the hydrofoil and the cavitation plate to reduce vibration.
- Align the hydrofoil with the drilled holes and insert the SS316 bolts from the top.
- From underneath, secure the bolts with the provided nuts and washers, tightening them evenly until the hydrofoil is firmly attached. Do not overtighten.
