Ideal for use as a garden bird feeder camera or as a general garden camera for covering an area within 30 feet. This 2 megapixel garden CCTV camera has a 3.6mm / 70 degree angle lens which produces colour images by day, and 15 - 20 meters of infrared (IR) black & white images by night. This outdoor waterproof camera will arrive ready assembled with your optional cable length (select from drop down box above) and is powered by a 12v mains adaptor (supplied) which will run down the same lead as the video input, so there is no need for power outside.
This HD1080p garden wildlife camera has a clever 4 in 1 manually switching image solution which supports AHD, TVI, CVI and analogue 960H resolutions all controllable through the in-line cable mouse (see image). This means that the camera can be connected directly to a TV via a Scart or AV inputs which will give you a good 960H analogue quality video.
To get the best image quality we recommend switching the camera to HD TVI 1080p and putting the signal through a Converter (optionally available) which will provide a stunning HD quality video direct to your TV or monitor.
If you wish to record with this wildlife camera you would need to plug it into a DVR, or connect it to a PC / MAC using one of our Video-USB adaptors, it's what you plug the garden cam into that does the recording!
The Wiring Bit
Consisting of a weatherproof cable (Video & 12v DC) connected to the camera at one end, whilst the other end of the cable needs to be routed into your property. The power and video run down the one cable, 12V DC power adaptor (supplied) for use indoors. The remaining video and optional audio connectors can either plug into a spare AV/AUX socket on your TV, video / DVD recorder, or a spare scart socket using the supplied scart adaptor. Switch on the 12v mains adaptor, then select the appropriate AV channel on your TV, sit back and wait for the show to start. Optional PC / MAC connectivity also available.
