Made from 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 20% Carignan and 10% Grenache. (The Grenache is from 30+ year old vines). This lovely southern French red has a delicate, elegant nose with red fruit aromas. Notes of blackberry, chocolate and liquorice on the palate. Soft, harmonious and well-balanced. Oodles of drinkability.

Nero Oro is made with hand-picked Nero d’Avola grapes, which are then dried using two distinct methods depending on which area the grapes come from. Both methods have been used in Sicily for centuries. On the vine: Grapes are left on the vine for longer than usual, giving the beginnings of a gentle and natural Appassimento process through dehydration on the vines. On racks: Grapes are left to dry on racks for 15 days. The grapes are dried until they have lost 10-15% of their original weight through desiccation which results in wonderfully concentrated flavours.

Domaine de la Baume in the Languedoc-Roussillon region is situated in Servian, between Béziers and the medieval town of Pézenas, at the centre of the world’s largest wine-growing area. In this haven of peace and quiet, one road leads to the magnificent wrought-iron gate adorned with a J and a P, in honour of Jean Prat.

Chateau Bois Pertuis belongs to the Family Helfrich and is located in Saint-Christophe-de-Double.  The estate is 72 hectares and stretches over a terroir 20 km north of Saint-Emilion. The terroir is made up of gravel and sand which brings real finesse to the wines, this combined with a portion planted on clay which adds richness.

Highly aromatic notes of ripe black and red fruits. In the mouth, it has a smooth fruity start with concentrated red fruit flavours perfectly balanced with oak notes and a nice acidity. The fresh, yet fine tannins take over at finish, where flavours of spice and liquorice dominate. A blend of Touriga Franca, Castelão, Syrah & Tinta Roriz – again, just think richly fruited, smooth as silk red.
