BBK Performance Gripp heavy duty 2005-2014 Mustang bump steer kits are a perfect handling upgrade and allow adjustment to ensure proper alignment geometry when installing lowering springs on your S197 Mustang.

Designed to Perform
BBK bump steer kits are built from CNC machined aluminum and fitted with only the highest quality heim joints. These units receive a graphite colored anodized finish for a perfect look with all Mustang colors.

What is Bump steer?
Bump steer is when the front toe setting changes as the suspension moves up and down. This happens when the arc that the spindle travels during suspension compression and droop is not the same as the arc of the tie-rod end. If the toe changes more than a very small amount the front wheels begin steering themselves without any input from the driver.

This makes the car feel unstable and unpredictable over bumps with body roll or brake dive. The arc of the spindle and the arc of the tie-rod end are determined by the lengths of the links involved and their physical location with respect to each other. When the front suspension is heavily modified such as relocated inner control arm pivots or swapping spindles with different tie-rod end locations the tie-rod geometry must be restored to minimize bump steer.

I’ve never tried a wooden wrist rest before, but after going through a few padded ones (even some expensive name-brand versions) that eventually peeled or fell apart, I figured this was worth a shot. And I’m so glad I did! This walnut wrist rest is smooth, beautifully made, and looks amazing on my desk. I have a whitewashed office setup, but this piece looks so good that I half-joked about wanting to change my desk to match it! It adds a very clean, grown-up aesthetic to the space. One thing I really appreciated is that it comes in several sizes to suit different setups. I ordered the largest available, and while it’s just a couple inches shy of covering the full length of my keyboard, it still works perfectly. It has non-slip grips on the bottom that keep it in place, and even though it’s made of solid wood, it’s surprisingly comfortable and ergonomic to type with. It’s also super low-maintenance—just wipe it clean with a damp cloth. For the $26–$29 price range, I think it’s a fantastic value and honestly better than some of the big-name options I’ve tried. This is a quality piece I expect to hold up for a long time, and I’m really happy with it!!

Check the height of your keyboard before ordering
This is a beautifully made, elegant looking wrist rest. The finish is satin perfectly smooth to the touch. As keyboards vary in height, be sure to measure he height of the front edge of yours before ordering—I didn’t (which is entirely my fault) and found that this wrist rest is just a wee bit too tall, which positioned my wrists a tad higher than I’m used to. Another factor you may want to consider are the ergonomics of solid wood versus other materials and your personal preferences (e.g., I tend to prefer cloth covered gel, because he cloth keeps my wrists from sticking and the gel is cushioning). My closing thought: this wrist rest is that it is by far the best looking of any wrist rest I’ve ever seen.
