Through media as various as paintings, diaristic calendars and performative videos, New York-based artist Sean Landers (born 1962) articulates his personal self-doubts and humiliations, attempting a sincere and unflinching excavation of the artist's consciousness. Landers foregrounds the artist's personality as an object worthy of study, and in his relentless articulation of emotion, at its most base and its most noble--from self-loathing to empathy and love--he reconceives and renews this persona. This volume, and the exhibition it accompanies at the Contemporary Art Museum Saint Louis, takes the years between 1990 and 1995 as Landers' formative and decisive period, and examines the conceits that he has cultivated over the course of his 20-year career, from the early yellow legal pads featuring the fictional artist Chris Hamson as autobiographer to the reclaiming of the persona by Landers' own voice.Shipping Notes

Better than I expected and sturdy too

I love it so much I bought 2 more and got one for a friend. It’s the perfect size for my iPad. The charger and cord. Pens and paper and a small/ paper back book. The strap is adjustable and can be removed and stored in the inside pocket. Plus the variety of colors and patterns is great as well. Makes a great gift for someone who is hard to buy for.

Great pen and great price!

I’ve been using this pen ever since I purchased my new iPad. Let me tell you that it works great. I use my iPad mainly for writing notes at work and I use it every single day. The pen has help up well. It comes with 4 replacement tips, but so far I haven’t had to replace the tip even though I use it extensively to write. Battery life is pretty good and it charges fast. To me, there is absolutely no reason to spend money on ahig end pen when this one doe essentially the same thing!

Love the pencil and price. I use it to design tattoos on procreate. It works great. No issues connecting. Like an apple pencil without the price. Good dub. One downside, the paint is chipping off the pencil. Not a big deal.
