The patriotic electric carrier comes in both power chair and scooter platforms.
The Medical Department Store is now proud to offer the new patriotic mobility lift for transporting power-chairs or scooters! This electric lift attaches to a Class II or Class III hitch receiver and has an easy to use toggle switch for raising and lowering the lift. The toggle switch operation has a key switch which only allows the lift to be operated when the key is inserted and turned, preventing the lift from lowering when transporting.
The lift also features a manual backup crank handle in case of electric motor failure. The US208 can be used to transport mobility scooters or power-chairs and can be loaded and unloaded from both sides. When not in use, the lift platform can be folded up toward the rear of the vehicle to show off the American flag cutout design featured in the platform. The electric mobility lift includes a three year transferable warranty!

the BEST BOOK EVER to learn what autism feels like
Format: Hardcover
I have read just about every book ever written (in English) related to autism -- well over 700 of them. This is the best book that communicates what autism feels like, and our life experiences. I'm decades older than the audience the book is intended for; but EVERYONE should read this book to understand we who are different. It also points out several well-known facts: autism has some heredity trails, having just one trusted adult who treats the different child like they are valuable is key to that child being able to cope with the world around them.
What surprised me was when an educator with over 25 years of experience in special ed, just did not think the book was that good. That convinced me of the book's unique value: it truly puts the reader in the body and mind of the different child. Some educators cannot do that.
The story focuses upon a female -- so not sure how applicable it is to a male different child. I hope some others would test that out.
The BEST BOOK EVER to understand what autism feels like. I know as I have been on the autism spectrum since before there was an autism spectrum.

Fantastic read
Format: Hardcover
Read as part of upper elementary book club with 4th and 5th graders. Told entirely in prose from the point of view of a 7th grade girl struggling with changing social dynamics and self-identity, we see Selah learn to advocate for herself amidst family and school challenges. This book made me laugh and cry, but more than anything, it made me cheer Selah on as she discovers what autism means for her.

Fun educational book
Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
This book is a big hit! My 5 year old son and I read it so many times since we ordered this in April. It has cute illustration and 60 flaps and pop-ups which make the book even more exciting. And because of this, I don’t recommend this book to young kids under 3 though. Some flaps might be tricky for younger kids. Even I as a parent learned so much about construction.
