HM-Enzyme Tablets by Herbal Maza – Classical Ayurvedic-Unani Formula for Constipation Relief, Bloating, Gas & Acidity Support

Digestive health is the foundation of overall wellbeing. HM-Enzyme Tablets by Herbal Maza are a 15-ingredient classical Ayurvedic-Unani formula combining carminative seeds and spices (Ajwain, Zeera Safaid, Badiyan, Kishneez, Sonth, Filfil Daraz, Pudina, Hing), classical mineral salts (Namak Lahori, Jawakhar, Namak Siyah), an astringent gum (Babul), and two classical herbal evacuants (Sana / Senna and Saqmoonia / Scammony Resin) — formulated to relieve constipation, bloating, gas, and acidity.

Formulated under the guidance of Dr. Yunus Malik with 15+ years of Ayurvedic and Unani expertise, HM-Enzyme delivers this 15-ingredient matrix in a single convenient tablet — no measuring powders, no churna preparation.

Important: HM-Enzyme contains two classical herbal evacuant ingredients — Sana (Senna) and Saqmoonia (Scammony Resin) — both of which work as natural stimulant laxatives. While these are classical, time-tested Ayurvedic and Unani ingredients, they are active evacuants and should be used as directed, with breaks between courses where advised by a physician. Please read the full health guidance below before use.

What Is HM-Enzyme?

HM-Enzyme is an internal Ayurvedic-Unani dietary supplement in convenient tablet form, combining 15 ingredients across four functional categories: carminative seeds and spices (Ajwain, Zeera Safaid, Badiyan, Kishneez, Sonth, Filfil Daraz, Pudina, Hing) that relieve gas, bloating, and spasm; classical mineral salts (Namak Lahori, Jawakhar, Namak Siyah) that support digestive secretions and acid balance; Babul, a classical astringent gum that soothes the gut lining; and two classical evacuant ingredients (Sana and Saqmoonia) that stimulate bowel movement for constipation relief.

Ararot (Arrowroot Powder) is included as a binding agent for tablet consistency and carries no therapeutic role. A measured quantity of Sodium Benzoate is included strictly as a food-grade preservative. Formulated under the expert guidance of Dr. Yunus Malik, HM-Enzyme is manufactured under Ayurvedic GMP standards.

Which Digestive Problems Does HM-Enzyme Help With?

  • Constipation & Irregular Bowel Movements: Sana and Saqmoonia, classical herbal evacuants, stimulate colonic peristalsis to relieve constipation when other dietary measures are insufficient.
  • Bloating & Abdominal Distension After Meals: Hing and Ajwain are potent carminatives that help break down intestinal gas and relieve post-meal bloating.
  • Excessive Gas & Flatulence: Ajwain's thymol content and Pudina's menthol relax gastrointestinal smooth muscle, reducing gas formation and spasm.
  • Acidity & Heartburn: Jawakhar (potassium carbonate), a classical alkali, helps neutralise excess stomach acid, while Kishneez has a cooling, soothing digestive action.
  • Indigestion & Slow Digestion: Sonth (Dry Ginger) supports gastric emptying and reduces post-meal heaviness.
  • Poor Digestive Secretions: Namak Lahori and Namak Siyah, classical digestive salts, stimulate gastric secretions and support the digestive process.
  • Gut Lining Sensitivity: Babul's astringent, soothing action supports the gut lining alongside the formula's carminative herbs.

Key Ingredients & Their Benefits

Ajwain (Trachyspermum ammi – Carom Seed Fruit)

Ajwain's active compound thymol stimulates digestive secretions and relaxes intestinal smooth muscle, relieving cramping, trapped gas, and flatulence.

Zeera Safaid (Cuminum carvi – Seed)

A classical carminative seed traditionally used to support digestion and reduce gas formation, complementing the formula's other digestive spices.

Badiyan (Foeniculum vulgare – Fennel Fruit)

A classical carminative that reduces bloating and gas, supporting smoother digestion throughout the gastrointestinal tract.

Kishneez (Coriandrum sativum – Coriander Fruit)

A cooling digestive herb traditionally used to soothe the gut and support comfortable digestion, particularly helpful for acidity-prone individuals.

Sonth (Zingiber officinale – Dry Ginger Rhizome)

A clinically studied digestive herb whose gingerols and shogaols accelerate gastric emptying, relieving bloating, heaviness, and indigestion.

Filfil Daraz (Piper longum – Long Pepper Fruit)

A classical Ayurvedic digestive stimulant that supports enzyme secretion and digestive fire (Agni), traditionally paired with Ginger in classical formulations.

Pudina (Mentha viridis – Spearmint, Aerial Part)

Spearmint's menthol content relaxes intestinal smooth muscle, relieving spasm, cramping, and post-meal bloating throughout the digestive tract.

Sana (Cassia angustifolia – Senna Leaves)

A classical Ayurvedic and Unani evacuant herb. Senna's active sennoside compounds stimulate colonic peristalsis, providing effective relief from constipation. As with any stimulant laxative herb, it should be used as directed and not relied upon continuously without physician guidance.

Hing (Ferula foetida – Asafoetida, Oleo Gum Resin)

One of the most potent natural carminatives, Hing's sulphur-containing compounds inhibit the bacterial fermentation that produces intestinal gas and provide antispasmodic relief from bloating and cramping.

Babul (Acacia nilotica – Gum)

A classical astringent gum that soothes and tones the gut lining, complementing the formula's carminative and evacuant action.

Namak Lahori (Rock Salt)

A classical digestive salt that stimulates gastric secretions at physiological levels and supports the smooth muscular contractions of peristalsis.

Jawakhar (Potassium Carbonate)

A classical Ayurvedic alkali that helps neutralise excess stomach acid, providing relief from acidity and heartburn without completely suppressing acid production.

Namak Siyah (Black Salt)

A classical digestive salt distinct from rock salt, traditionally used in Ayurvedic formulations to stimulate digestive secretions and support healthy digestion.

Saqmoonia (Convolvulus scammonia – Scammony Resin)

A classical, potent herbal evacuant resin used in carefully measured quantity alongside milder carminative herbs, which classically moderate its purgative action. Saqmoonia stimulates bowel evacuation for constipation relief and should be used strictly as directed.

Ararot (Maranta arundinacea – Arrowroot Powder)

A neutral binding agent used for tablet consistency. It carries no active therapeutic role in the formula.

How Does HM-Enzyme Work?

  • Bowel Stimulation: Sana and Saqmoonia stimulate colonic peristalsis directly, providing effective relief for constipation.
  • Carminative Gas Relief: Hing, Ajwain, and Pudina relax intestinal smooth muscle and reduce gas formation, addressing bloating from multiple directions.
  • Acid Balance: Jawakhar neutralises excess stomach acid, while Kishneez provides a cooling, soothing digestive action.
  • Digestive Secretion Support: Namak Lahori, Namak Siyah, Sonth, and Filfil Daraz stimulate digestive enzyme and acid secretion to support efficient digestion.
  • Gut Lining Support: Babul's astringent action soothes and tones the gut lining alongside the formula's other digestive herbs.

Who Should Use HM-Enzyme?

  • Adults with occasional or chronic constipation who need effective evacuant support.
  • People experiencing frequent post-meal bloating, trapped gas, or abdominal distension.
  • Individuals suffering from acidity or heartburn seeking a classical Ayurvedic-Unani approach.
  • People with slow digestion or post-meal heaviness.
  • Adults seeking a classical herbal alternative for occasional digestive support, used as directed.

Who Should Consult a Doctor Before Use?

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women — Sana (Senna) and Saqmoonia (Scammony) are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without physician guidance.
  • Individuals with diagnosed gastrointestinal conditions including Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, peptic ulcer, or gastrointestinal obstruction — consult a qualified physician or gastroenterologist before use, as stimulant evacuants may not be appropriate.
  • Individuals on prescription medications — both Sana and Saqmoonia can accelerate bowel transit, which may reduce the absorption window for other oral medications; consult your physician and consider spacing doses apart.
  • Hypertensive individuals — due to the formula's mineral salt content, consult your physician before regular use.
  • Individuals with liver disease — consult a physician before taking any concentrated herbal formulation.
  • Children under 12 years of age — not formulated for paediatric use without qualified practitioner guidance.
  • Anyone planning continuous daily use beyond the recommended short course — Sana and Saqmoonia are active evacuants; long-term continuous use should be physician-supervised.

Key Benefits

  • Effective relief from constipation through classical herbal evacuant action.
  • Fast relief from bloating, trapped gas, and flatulence through multiple carminative herbs.

  • Soothes the gut lining through Babul's astringent action.
  • Convenient once-daily or twice-daily tablet form — no measuring or churna preparation.

How to Use

  • Dose: Take 1 tablet with warm water after a meal, as directed. Taking after a meal improves comfort and reduces stomach sensitivity.
  • Water Temperature: Always take with warm water for smoother dissolution and absorption.
  • Diet: Maintain adequate daily fibre intake and hydration (at least 8 glasses of water per day) to support the formula's action.
  • Duration: Use as directed for the recommended course. Do not use continuously beyond the recommended duration without consulting a physician, given the formula's evacuant ingredients.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the container tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.

Expected Results Timeline

Within 6–12 Hours: Most users experience bowel movement relief within several hours of taking the tablet, consistent with the typical onset time of classical stimulant evacuant herbs like Sana and Saqmoonia.

Days 1–7: Bloating, gas, and acidity symptoms typically begin improving as the carminative herbs and alkaline salts take effect with regular use.

Beyond 1–2 Weeks: For ongoing constipation concerns, consult your physician regarding appropriate course duration, as continuous long-term use of evacuant herbs should be medically supervised.

Safety & Quality Assurance

  • Formulated by Dr. Yunus Malik: 15+ years of Ayurvedic and Unani expertise.
  • Manufactured Under Ayurvedic GMP Standards: Ensuring ingredient identity, potency, and safety throughout production.
  • Full Ingredient Transparency: All 15 ingredients, including the two evacuant herbs (Sana and Saqmoonia), are clearly disclosed.

a swim through literary magic
Format: Kindle
Reading this book reminds me of jumping into a pool of water and the way the water tickles your skin as you descend into it, then surrounds you and totally encompasses you in its liquid wonder. There is so much here: beautiful metaphors that conjure up both visual images and the emotions that accompany it. Wonderful character development: presented with gentleness, respect and grace. An intricate plot that carries the reader along lightly and buoyantly, not calling attention to itself, but carrying through to the end. The book itself is a portrait of Theo, in keeping with the portrait style described within.

Savor Theo -A Heart & Soul Dish
*No spoilers in this review I found this book to be an unexpected banquet for my soul. I don’t read fiction very often, but as I read Theo of Golden, I realized I am hungry for what this story offers. Based on its swift and growing popularity, I believe the world is hungry for the gift of Theo of Golden. When speaking on his book, Mr. Levi shared a quote from David Brooks, “ To write a book about kindness does not make you kind. To read a book about kindness does not make you kind… but to buy a book about kindness, that makes you kind.” 😄 This humor & humility — a “don’t take yourself too seriously” a welcoming accessibility is in the author and this book. I love this spirit in the story —so much so, if I could hug this book any tighter— it would be behind me. (borrowing generously from Groucho Marx ) I started to do research on Allen Levi - who wrote this gift. He chose well, hundreds of little choices, keeping him close to beauty, kindness, meaningful relationships and community. His choices of early morning devotionals and prayer and regular visits to schools and coffee houses, to write songs instead of watch tv, all feeding the character of the author. I believe you cannot share beyond where you have traveled. He has traveled to deep places. A definite Ode to Joy prior to offering Theo was to write about the last 365 days of his brother’s life they shared after a cancer diagnosis entered. His brother’s early exit from here and entrance into heaven, I believe, prepared the way for one of the greatest fiction writings of our day. Allen Levi’s habits to avoid technology and be fully present with the people in his life bleeds beautifully onto the characters of Golden. The environment is one which doesn’t talk about technology or politics. Just people connections. He firsts introduces us, then beautifully befriends us to a better way and a place, accessible to us if we would choose to allow mindful relationships to develop. All this making the community of Golden a place to cherish. Ultimately I believe the gift is to see Golden could be grown in a hometown, a neighborhood, with all people… It’s a heart posture- a posture that Theo bestows on the town. In my ideal world, the author would meet another great songwriter, poet, storyteller: Ray Hughes. Ray is another gift to humanity, in creativity, intelligence, and accessing heaven on earth through words. I believe there would be a powerful explosion of hope, humor and generosity in their meeting, subsequent friendship & collaboration. I’m dreaming here, and lifting a prayer to the heavens- it would be awesome!! With a grateful heart, I highly recommend Theo of Golden. Humbly submitted, Dawn Holley Author, 22 Keys To Joy for the easily distracted

The end is only the beginning
Format: Kindle
Theo appears in a small fictional Georgia town named Golden. He’s a distinguished old man with a mysterious past. He’s a quiet observer; then he makes friends in a coffee house and there pursues a plan to personally gift every portrait drawing on the wall to the townsfolk simply pictured there. As an artist, I appreciated the detailed descriptions of each face, and then the invited dialogue with each person behind those drawings. The characters Theo gets to know are varied and storied. Of even more value to me was Theo’s visit to the studio of the originator of all the portraits. Layers start getting unpeeled in this tale. I started to highlight phrases when the motivation for doing the work got uncovered between them. There were times when I felt the main character was “too good” to be believable. I personally appreciated the subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) references to Theo being a Christ figure. But remember that Jesus was the one who said “woe to you when all men speak well of you”. The Theo who is pictured in this book, and the reactions of most around him is maybe a little too syrupy? A friend who is in my book club felt herself being “manipulated” when reading this book. I ponder that. There was a plethora of reactions to Jesus too, but I don’t think any honest quester ever felt manipulated. He let them walk freely away. For me the significance of each face was the key theme, and each face held sorrow. There are some beautiful lines in the book around this. The ambitions: true and false in the “art world” also the business world resonated also. The Pastor’s words during a funeral at the end were valuable. And the little girl’s imagination (prompted by Theo) of all the musical notes flying on their wings into the chandeliers so that they can sing again later was a wonderful metaphor. There are some excellent passages in this book if you remain in it. As one grandmother said in this tale: “Baby, they’s justice and they’s mercy. If you not sure what to do and you gotta choose one or the other, I say always go the mercy way. If you make a mistake, make it for mercy. Bad mercy don’t hurt nearly like bad justice and always remember, the eye of God can see.”
