Stealth Black Topographic Map Hood Overlay (Printed Series
Long before the Bronco came out it has been customary for off roaders to put matte material on their hood to cut out glare. This glare can come from the sun or lights mounted above the vehicle's hood.
Not only does it serve a function, but it can adds some style at the same time.
We are fully printing an actual map on clear vinyl and covering it with a UV protectant stealth layer. This will ensure that your hood overlay looks good for years. Your vehicle's original paint will fill in the areas around the design, but will be matted or stealthed out.
If you would like us to review other designs / maps, please contact us. We will always entertain the idea of new designs which may have broad appeal for other customers.
NOTE: 2 sets are sold at a reduced price. Keep it as a backup or in case your first install proves to be difficult.
Installation
Clean the application area to prepare it for installation. Just use a wax free detailing spray if your vehicle is not too dirty.
NOTES: We recommend that the installation area be free of wax and not under direct sunlight.
- Microfiber

- Soapy Water (we recommend our StickerFab Installation Fluid)
- Heat Gun or Hair Dryer (optional)
- Supplied Felt Tip Squeegee
3 item kit (microfiber, installation fluid, squeegee)
Wet installs require one drop of dish or hand soap in a cup of water, however we prefer and highly recommend using StickerFab Application Fluid. Apply to the vinyl so that the first attempt doesn't make the vinyl permanently stick to the surface. Then you can slide it around and push out the extra water once it is in place with your squeegee.
Try doing the install in the shade so it doesn't heat up the vinyl rapidly.
