DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675 at Vinyl Sound Toronto Canada

The DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675 is a purpose-designed on-wall mounting frame from DALI (Struer, Denmark), available at Vinyl Sound in Toronto, Canada. Engineered specifically for the DALI Phantom M-675 in-wall loudspeaker, the OW Frame M-675 converts the M-675 from an in-wall speaker into a fully on-wall solution without requiring any wall cutouts or penetration. The frame mounts to any wall type, accommodates wall thicknesses from 8 mm to 68 mm, and positions the Phantom M-675 in either vertical Left/Right stereo orientation or horizontal centre-channel vocal mode. With a mounting depth of 100 mm, cable entry inlets on all four sides, and a neutral white finish, the OW Frame M-675 weighs 15 kg including the grille and is the manufacturer-matched on-wall solution for Phantom M-675 installations where wall penetration is not an option.

On-Wall Deployment for the DALI Phantom M-675

The DALI Phantom M-675 is engineered as a high-performance in-wall loudspeaker, but installation conditions frequently prevent wall penetration. Rental properties, concrete and masonry walls, heritage buildings with protected wall surfaces, rooms with concealed pipework or electrical services, and post-construction retrofits where re-plastering or re-tiling is not feasible all present scenarios where traditional in-wall installation is impractical. The OW Frame M-675 resolves each of these constraints by providing a rigid on-wall enclosure that houses the M-675 speaker flush against the wall surface, using the Phantom M-series dogleg clamping system to secure the speaker within the frame. The frame maintains the correct 100 mm mounting depth specified for the Phantom M-series, preserving the acoustic geometry the M-675 is designed to operate within while delivering a clean, architectural on-wall appearance.

Flexible Orientation and Cable Routing

The OW Frame M-675's large format, with cut-out dimensions of 1,298 x 226 mm, accommodates the full driver array of the Phantom M-675 in both installation orientations. In vertical Left/Right mode, the frame positions the M-675 as a full-range stereo or surround speaker in portrait orientation for music and multichannel audio applications. In horizontal vocal mode, the frame rotates the M-675 to landscape orientation for deployment as a wide-dispersion centre channel in a home cinema system, aligning the driver array laterally for optimal coverage of the primary seating area. Cable entry inlets on all four sides of the frame ensure that speaker cable can be routed from any direction regardless of wall construction type, cable conduit location, or skirting board configuration, giving installers complete flexibility in cable management for both vertical and horizontal deployments.

Key Features

  • No Wall Cutout Required: The OW Frame M-675 mounts entirely on the wall surface, enabling the DALI Phantom M-675 to be installed in any room without penetrating the wall, preserving wall integrity in rental, heritage, masonry, and post-construction installation scenarios.
  • Compatible with DALI Phantom M-675: Designed and dimensioned specifically for the Phantom M-675 in-wall loudspeaker, maintaining the correct 100 mm Phantom M-series mounting depth and dogleg clamping installation method.
  • Dual Orientation Support: Installs in vertical Left/Right stereo and surround mode or horizontal vocal centre-channel mode, with cable entry inlets on all four frame sides for flexible wiring in either orientation.
  • Universal Wall Compatibility: Mounts to any wall type including plasterboard, masonry, concrete, and timber stud construction, accommodating wall thicknesses from 8 mm to 68 mm within the Phantom M-series dogleg span range.
  • Large Format Dimensions: Cut-out dimensions of 1,298 x 226 mm accommodate the full driver array of the Phantom M-675 in a slimline on-wall profile suited to contemporary room designs.
  • White Finish: A neutral white surface integrates discreetly into any room interior and can be painted to match wall finishes for a fully custom appearance.
  • Robust Construction: At 15 kg including the grille, the OW Frame M-675 provides the structural rigidity required to safely support and acoustically house the Phantom M-675 speaker against any wall surface.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675?

The DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675 is a purpose-built on-wall mounting frame from DALI (Struer, Denmark) designed specifically for the DALI Phantom M-675 in-wall loudspeaker. It enables the Phantom M-675 to be deployed as an on-wall speaker without any wall cutouts, mounts to any wall type with thicknesses from 8 mm to 68 mm, supports both vertical stereo and horizontal centre-channel orientations, and maintains the 100 mm Phantom M-series mounting depth. It weighs 15 kg including the grille and is available at Vinyl Sound in Toronto, Canada.

Do I need to cut into the wall to install the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675?

No, the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675 mounts entirely on the wall surface and does not require any penetration of the wall. The Phantom M-675 speaker is installed into the frame using the standard Phantom M-series dogleg clamping system, securing the speaker within the on-wall enclosure in the same way it would be secured in a traditional in-wall cutout. This makes the OW Frame M-675 the correct solution for rental properties, heritage buildings, masonry and concrete walls, and any installation environment where wall penetration is not permitted or practical.

How does the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675 compare to the OW Frame S-280?

The DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675 and OW Frame S-280 are both on-wall mounting frames in the DALI OW Frame range, but they are matched to different speaker series with different mounting specifications. The OW Frame M-675 is designed for the Phantom M-675 in-wall speaker, uses the Phantom M-series 100 mm mounting depth and 8 to 68 mm dogleg span, and has cut-out dimensions of 1,298 x 226 mm and a weight of 15 kg. The OW Frame S-280 is designed for the larger Phantom S-280 in-wall speaker, uses the Phantom S-series 103 mm mounting depth and 10 to 70 mm dogleg span, and has cut-out dimensions of 1,495 x 495 mm with a substantially heavier weight of 36.5 kg. The two frames are not interchangeable between speaker series.

Can the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675 be used horizontally as a centre channel?

Yes, the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675 supports horizontal vocal mode installation for deployment of the Phantom M-675 as a centre channel speaker in a home cinema system. In horizontal orientation the M-675's driver array is aligned laterally, providing wide horizontal dispersion across the primary seating row for clear and focused centre channel dialogue reproduction. Cable entry inlets on all four sides of the frame allow speaker cable to be routed neatly from the wall in horizontal orientation without requiring additional cable management hardware.

What wall types is the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675 compatible with?

The DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675 is compatible with any wall type, including plasterboard and drywall on timber or metal stud construction, solid masonry and brick walls, poured concrete walls, and timber-panelled wall surfaces. The frame's dogleg clamping system accommodates wall surface thicknesses from 8 mm to 68 mm. Given the combined weight of 15 kg for the frame and grille plus the additional weight of the Phantom M-675 speaker, wall fixings must be selected and rated for the total installed load. A qualified installer should assess the wall substrate and specify appropriate anchors or fixings before proceeding with installation.

Where can I buy the DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675 in Toronto or Canada?

The DALI Phantom OW Frame M-675 is available at Vinyl Sound, an authorised DALI dealer in Toronto, Canada. Vinyl Sound serves customers across the Greater Toronto Area and ships throughout Canada. For complete Phantom M-675 on-wall system configurations including the speaker, OW Frame, and compatible DALI CI amplification, the Vinyl Sound team can provide full project support and system design advice.

Is the DALI Phantom OW Frame range available for other Phantom M-series speakers?

Yes, the DALI Phantom OW Frame range includes dedicated frames for the full Phantom M-series in-wall speaker lineup. The OW Frame M-250 and OW Frame M-375 share the same cut-out dimensions of 751 x 226 mm and are matched to the Phantom M-250 and M-375 speakers respectively, while the OW Frame M-675 with its larger 1,298 x 226 mm dimensions is matched to the Phantom M-675. All three M-series frames use the 100 mm Phantom M-series mounting depth and 8 to 68 mm dogleg span. Vinyl Sound carries the complete OW Frame range and can advise on the correct frame for any Phantom M-series or S-series installation.

Well argued
Format: Paperback
Perhaps I should say at once that giving this slim but meaty volume five stars doesn't mean I personally agree with it. It has been many years since I have subscribed to the substitutionary theory of Jesus' death or the idea that the Bible is anything other than a record of human interfaces with the Unknown. But a review is not the place to argue such points at length. Also, it behooves people who want to think, to seek out alternate and even opposing points of view, in order to test and maybe revise their ideas. Jeremy Treat did not change my mind, but he might have if I held the same view he apparently does of Scripture. He argues well, clearly, and persuasively, and makes a Christianity grounded on this view look at least potentially like a pretty good basis for decent living. There are one or two points that troubled me a little. The concept that Jesus died for us as a community is sound in itself, but if carried to extremes looks very much like the idea that underlay the infamous religious wars and persecutions. Also, on page 86, Treat says: "Forgiveness is not merely dismissing a wrong. My wife and I teach our children that when someone apologizes to them, they should not respond by simply saying, 'It's okay' … To truly forgive, one acknowledges the wrongdoing but chooses to not hold it against the wrongdoer. Forgiveness is … accepting the penalty on behalf of the wrongdoer for the sake of the relationship. It is absorbing the pain yourself rather than seeking to put it back on the other person." Now, to me, this looks like such a clear recipe for Trouble that I very much wish Treat provided several examples for how, exactly, he sees it working in everyday life. Sometimes, as when the apology is a "Sorry" for inadvertently jostling you in a crowd, the simple "It's okay" seems to me by far the best response. These few possible danger points, however, should be understood in the context of the book as a whole, which gives me the very strong impression of a practical pastor who knows his stuff, makes things hang coherently together, and probably gives useful and comforting counsel. I'm guessing, by his book, that he is a man I'd enjoy talking with in person.

Great sink organizer!
Good quality storage/organizer for the kitchen sink. It’s stable and can hold an assortment of dish cleaning products close to the sink. It has a plastic dish underneath to collect drip-off water. This is exactly what I needed to organize!

Great kitchen organizer
I love this handy kitchen sink organizer! I like things to be neat and tidy. This little product does the trick! It holds my dish liquid, hand soap, brushes, disposal cover and my sponges. The size is perfect and it looks great next to my sink. The organizer is made of metal and is built very well. It even has a drip pan. No more stuff all around the sink. This keeps it all organized so well. Love it!

Just right for the necessities!
Very sturdy and made of quality material. Some people may prefer an even larger version if they use more products but thisone fits perfectly on the ledge behind my sink and is just big enough for the products I use daily when cleaning the kitchen. My only complaint is that the drip tray is about ¼ of an inch too short lengthwise so if all your products get a little water on them, you may get some drippage on the counter but I just slid it to the far left side where the sponges go because that's where it's needed most. I installed it backwards because I can't remove the tray from the front due to the sinks edge being raised too high. I also installed the rag holder in the opposite direction so that I can fit taller/more products in the back, I just think it works better that way imo. Overall, I'm highly satisfied with this product.
