The man in these portraits is Akbar the Great, a ruling Mughal emperor who reigned from 1556-1605. The woman is unknown, but likely one of his wives. These are genuinely gorgeous and authentic portraits that are perfect to add some character and history to your home.

Condition: 

These antique portraits are definitely in an unrestored state. They bear the signs of almost 2 centuries of use. The frames have various missing pieces of wood and the paintings themselves have some restoration work.
