This water pump repair kit fits your Mercury F40‑60 4-stroke Bigfoot/Command Thrust outboard, 60hp 2‑cycle BigFoot (serial No. 0D000750 and above). It fits 75‑115 4-stroke outboards, 150 EFI 4-stroke outboards and 70‑90hp 2‑cycle outboards (serial No. 0A996142 and above). It fits 100‑125hp 2‑cycle (4-cylinder) models having pump cover screws without insulators. It also fits V‑200/225/250 (3.0L) 2‑cycle outboards. This pump repair kit fits all 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder Verado 135-400HP (with 4.80 dia. torpedo gearcases) and 5.44"outboards. This versatile water pump repair kit also fits MerCruiser Alpha One Gen II drives (serial No. 0D469859 and above). See your owner’s manual for replacement schedule. the "fit" is very precise

Nice Fabrication, Good materials, perfect adhesive applications, "clean joints" etc. Appears to be a good UPGRADE from the stock Motorcraft product. CONs: The FIT was a "smidge TIGHT", and took very precise initial alignment and "pressure" to begin to slide into the rectangular hole. I measured the "Hole" at 7.375" wide, or (187.33 mm)... the FILTER is exactly the SAME. I would suggest maybe reducing the Width by 1 mm, to allow for an easier installation. The MOTORCRAFT uses an "open-cell" foam structure for the (2) Side pieces on their filter assembly, allowing some "compression to fit", of the Width, easing the difficulty of installation, yet still filling all voids. In summation, the "fit" is very precise. Not to be hurried or rushed, maybe a bit meticulous for the impatient or weak of heart.
