It provides your engine with the largest amount of high-flowing air and delivers the highest power gains in most cases. This media is perfect for street use. Its inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals. The filter features an injection molded base and top for lighter weight and rigidity. Its base includes a built-in 3-angle velocity stack for smooth, even airflow and captive screws to easily attach the filter to the housing. Quantum uses an integrated filter-to-housing design that attaches both components with four captive screws, making for a positive surface area seal, as well as easy installation and maintenance. Its durable sealed housing features a unique, five rib, industrial-grade look for aFe quality recognition. Quantum uses a dyno-tuned, computer designed intake tube to achieve optimum air flow and a perfect fit. Its XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. This Quantum intake system includes a flexible bellows-style coupling and a durable reinforced ribbed silicone coupling. Quantum intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and easy installation. This is a direct fit intake system that utilizes factory mounting points and requires no cutting or modifications. These surge protectors are rated some of the best you can get
These surge protectors are rated some of the best you can get, so I have been purchasing them for many years. Even though their shell is made of plastic, I've had excellent luck with them over the years without any problems. Recently, one of them had the green light stop working intermittently. I emailed APC and got a replacement without a bunch of hassle. I simply sent them the serial number on the current one and they sent a replacement. It's been a long time since I've experienced this kind of customer support from anywhere. I have to say that APC's customer support is excellent and I will continue to buy their products without question.
