We were offered the chance to stock some British firewood crates this season to see how they sell, and we jumped at the chance. These are made up of a wonderful mix of kiln dried British logs, cut to 23cm so they fit most stoves. They're kiln dried to far below 20% moisture, usually around 13-14%, so they light easily and burn super clean - better for your chimney and the environment.

You might not know, but nearly all of the crates of firewood sold in the UK are imported from Eastern Europe - despite lots of "local" log companies selling them and brushing their origin under the rug, with clever marketing.
