- For the sake of both longevity and perfection, we suggest framing your print as soon as possible. Seek an experienced framer who uses archival materials and UV resistant glass/perspex.

- Keep handling to a minimum. Fingerprints can leave a mark, so always handle with care & caution. If you must handle your print, use both hands: one gently on the margin, the other behind the print so that its weight rests in your palm. Fine art paper will dent if not handled correctly, and any dents/bends/creases - or fingerprints marks - are irreversible.

- Never place your print printed-side-down on any surface (unless there is a barrier material, such as glassine, between the print and surface). Doing so may graze the delicate printed area.

- Archival pigments prints will last for 80+ years under the correct conditions. For maximum longevity and minimal fading, hang your framed print in a cool, dry place away from regular strong, direct light. Avoid areas prone to humidity or temperature fluctuations.

Excellent pre WW2 Churchill primer.
Format: Hardcover
This author has done an excellent job of explaining the role Churchill played in preparing Britain for WW2 despite being out of government for most of the 1930’s. The author is a curator and historian who has managed the collections at Chartwell, Churchill’s home during that time. Very well researched and easy to read. Anyone who studies 20th Century European history needs to read this book.

Book for Churchill fans
Format: Hardcover
Not an introduction to Churchill but fills out a period of his life that is often overlooked. Some fascinating insights into people who visited Chartwell. I really enjoyed this book, but it's not for everyone.

An excellent addition to the library of books about the life of Churchill.
Format: Hardcover
Excellent story of Churchill's years in the wilderness, warning of the growing threat of Nazi Germany from 1932 to the early of the war. Thoroughly researched and well written, given the complexities of what was going on contemporaneously.

Just like the PBS series....
Format: Hardcover
This book is a step, or two, deeper into the 'wilderness years' than the PBS series by the same name. But frankly, the series, available on YouTube, is a better buy (it's free) for the money and quite entertaining due to its great casting with folks like Robert Hardy, Sian Phillips, and Eric Porter. But, if you're a reader, this book is worth the effort and cost.

A great book about a great estate and the great man who inhabited it.
Format: Kindle
Carter does a superb job of accurately recounting the history of Chartwell and the people and events that made it such a special place.
