  • 1 × Integrated ignition spark plug rubber cap

Installation Guide

  1. Disconnect the battery to ensure safety and prevent accidental sparking during the installation process.
  2. Locate the faulty ignition coil on your Yamaha outboard motor by tracing the spark plug wires back to the ignition system.
  3. Disconnect the spark plug wire from the old ignition coil by gently pulling the rubber cap off the coil terminal.
  4. Remove mounting bolts or fasteners securing the ignition coil to the engine block using the appropriate socket or wrench.
  5. Carefully detach the old coil and inspect the mounting area for corrosion, debris, or damage; clean if necessary.
  6. Position the new ignition coil in the exact mounting location, aligning the bolt holes with the engine mounting points.
  7. Secure the new coil by hand-tightening the mounting bolts first, then torque to manufacturer specifications (typically 8–10 Nm).
  8. Reconnect the spark plug wire by firmly pressing the included rubber cap onto the coil terminal until it clicks or seats fully.
  9. Reconnect the battery and ensure all electrical connections are secure and free from moisture or corrosion.
  10. Start the engine and listen for smooth operation; check for consistent spark by observing engine performance.
  11. Test under load by running the engine at various RPMs to confirm stable ignition and no misfires.
  12. Inspect connections periodically during the first few operating hours to ensure the coil remains securely mounted and functional.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

Q: How do I confirm this ignition coil fits my Yamaha outboard?
A: Cross-reference your engine model, year, and horsepower with the compatibility table above. Verify your original part number matches 6E5-85570-10-00 or 6E5-85570-11-00, and consult the Yamaha parts diagrams linked earlier if needed.

Q: What are the signs that my ignition coil is failing?
A: Common symptoms include rough idling, engine misfires, difficulty starting, reduced power output, and intermittent spark. If spark plug wires and plugs are in good condition but the engine still underperforms, the ignition coil may be faulty.

Q: How often should I replace the ignition coil?
A: Ignition coils typically last several years under normal operating conditions. Replace the coil if you experience consistent ignition problems, or as part of a comprehensive tune-up if the engine has exceeded 500–1000 operating hours.

Q: Is this an OEM part or an aftermarket replacement?
A: This listing is an aftermarket replacement part (not an OEM component). We build to OEM specifications using comparable-grade materials. Production is done in an ISO9002-certified facility, and each batch is inspected for consistent performance.

Q: How fast do you ship and how much does it cost?
A: We offer fast global shipping—typically 5–15 days worldwide—and standard shipping is free. Expedited options are available at checkout depending on your location.

Q: What is your warranty and return policy?
A: This product includes a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. If something goes wrong, contact our support team with your order details. Returns are accepted within our standard return window (unused & in original condition); please see our policy page or reach out for instructions.

Easily Ripped apart within minutes
Color: Blue Puppy, Size: Medium Size 2, Color: Blue Puppy, Size: Medium Size 2
I have a new foster who’s only 35 pounds not an aggressive chewer and loves to play with my dogs rooster soccer ball toy but the ball itself is a little big for her to get her teeny little mouth around when she’s trying to carry and run with it this happened to pop up on my feed a size smaller (medium, instead of large ) and available for next day delivery, so I bought it specifically for the little dog to play with. I gave it to her to play outside while my hound is busy playing with one of her toys I went about watering the garden, when I turned around a few minutes later, I saw the ball appeared to be completely flattened. As I walked over, I saw pieces of black rubber on the ground, and then the rest of the ball had a gaping hole in it. The rooster version of the ball that I bought from another seller has been going strong for months with multiple dogs playing with it and chewing on it and ripping the side ribbons apart so either I got a defective toy or the quality of manufacturer from this seller is much lower since the durability of the ball seems to be less than an hour.

Not very durable
Color: Blue Puppy, Size: Medium Size 2
This ball is cute and my dog loves tags. However he popped this ball with one bite to carry it…. Within 10 minutes of getting it. It should have a tougher exterior

Quality and comfort
Size: 10.5-11.5 Women/9-10 Men, Color: Black
Comfortable and fit well. I got these to replace a very old pair that finally wore out! Warmth is medium (I wear puffer booties for when it's really cold). Quality on these is great!

Can't go wrong with Acorn for as long as they last!
Size: 12-13 Women/10.5-11.5 Men, Color: Charcoal
Acorn is just a great company all around. I had bought my husband these slippers over 20 years ago. They are still in great shape although the sole has worn in some places. But nothing's coming apart! However, I decided to replace them for him. His foot is 10.5 and they are a little hard to get on right away-of course, after over 20 years of having "worn in" the original pair, anything would feel tight. So I'm not holding this against them. They will relax with use. The only difference is that the original sole was black and these are tan. I think I would prefer the black, but since it's only being worn in the house, no big deal. My husband has really cold feet and these slippers never fail to warm his feet right up! He said they feel really soft to walk in and like the cushioning. They're not too heavy and fit him great! I have Acorn slippers myself that I've worn every single day in the house and outside to the mailbox too. They last.
