God is wooing us to love Him with all our hearts and our neighbors as ourselves (Luke 10:27). Wood explains that to truly be who God created us to be, we need “others who are gifted in areas where we lack” (53). We were created “male and female” so right there you have tremendous diversity; yet, it is in the oneness of this diversity that we will see all creation set free into the glorious liberty of the sons of God (Rom. 8:21). Wood references the works of notable scholars in the field and brings together ministries who are truly gifted to supply answers where we have lacked. I highly recommend this book for home Bible study groups, as it presents the material in portions that young believers can relate to and assimilate.
