Johnny Joint rod ends offer cushioning that a heim joint cannot provide via high-density urethane bushing that encases the inner ball.

The heat treated center balls are cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication and the joint internals are retained with 2 heavy duty, heat treated side washers and a snap ring.

This specific joint is a 2 Inch diameter, fitted with a zerk fitting for greasing, 2 1/4 Inch of 3/4 Inch-16 right hand threads on the shank, and a 1.600 Inch mounting width ball with a .625 Inch thru bolt hole. Finished in gold zinc plating.

So you have that protective cover over the main case that holds the memory foam. They're amazing to sleep on. I have had these last for years without going flat. If you hate flat pillows this is the way to go. They are very easy to wash. You just have to separate layers. They are very thick, you can adjust the thickness. Everyone in my house has at least one. They are worth the money. I have never had to replace them, because they went flat.
