Stop stray light from entering your lens with the Sensei PRO 52mm Wide Angle Aluminum Lens Hood , a screw-on type hood that is designed for use with wide-angle lenses with 52mm front filter threads. This hood will work with lenses 24mm and longer on full frame cameras or 18mm and longer on APS-C sensors. Lens hoods are primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. Also, since the end of the lens is extended and the hood features a durable anodized aluminum construction, you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact. Additionally, users can attach 72mm filters to the front opening and it has a non-glare matte finish on the inside to prevent reflections.
