The SKID-OK is a robust and ultralightweight evacuation chair weighing in at just 10kg. It's also the most compact evacuation chair in the Spencer SKID range, when fully folded only being 17.5cm in width, making the SKID-OK perfect for narrower staircases. 

The addition of two self-braking and reinforced tracks offer stability and increased control during stairway descent operations. Large 15cm rear wheels reduce vibration and friction during transport whilst making it easier to also transport across flat surfaces. Pivoting 10cm front wheels feature the brakes.

An extendable handhold and it's robust but lightweight frame offer not only stability and control, but excellent manoeuvrability in tight spaces and stairwells.

An integrated footrest improves the stability and overall causality comfort, along with adjustable headrest, head restraint, belt restraints and reinforced PVC seat. The adjustable PVC seat is also reinforced, provides extra comfort and is easy to keep clean.

Complying with the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR), the SKID-OK provides a smooth, quick and safe evacuation for both the patient and the operator.

The SKID-OK Evacuation chair despite being ultralight, has a maximum load capacity of 250kg and is perfect for evacuating heavier patients. The SKID range gives the best patient protection, whilst also ensuring operators are safe from lifting and handling injuries when in use.

The Spencer SKID evacuation chairs should always folded in close proximity to staircases and can be deployed in a matter of seconds. The SKID-OK chair is designed for maximum manoeuvrability even with heavier patients. 

SKID evacuation chairs are ideal for use in multi-storey buildings when lifts are unavailable or it's too tight for traditional stretcher trolleys and can be used to bring patients in a sitting position to an ambulance. Not suitable for for transportation inside the ambulance.
