Brand new for the 2022 hockey season are the Bauer Vapor 3X Intermediate Hockey Shoulder Pads from Bauer Hockey. Bauer has designed these pads to deliver the perfect balance of protection, comfort, and flexibility for the competitive level player.
Starting off with the front of the Vapor 3X Shoulder Pads, the Ventaprene vest is made to flex with your body, and it allows you the ultimate freedom of mobility while staying very lightweight, giving you the ability to be as fast as possible on the ice. Bauer has also integrated a molded sternum protector with MD foam and PE inserts to deliver top tier protection in this most crucial area.
The Venataprene vest continues around the back of the Vapor 3X Shoulder Pads to help further your mobility in the pads. One of the most crucial areas to protect is the spine, and Bauer has included a segmented spine protector with PE inserts to reinforce and protect this area.
On the shoulders you will find a low-profile injected shoulder cap that will help absorb impacts from collisions like bumping into the boards or into other players. Around on the bicep is an adjustable bicep guard that includes molded PE foams. For the liner, Bauer is using a sublimated THERMOMAX liner. This liner is treated to manage sweat while providing a fresh feel all game long. Additionally, it will help to keep you cool as you skate.
