    About the work

    Richard Wentworth is a chronicler of daily life; since the 1970s he has played a leading role in British sculpture, isolating the formal and sculptural qualities of everyday objects. His enormous archive of photographs, Making Do and Getting By (1974 onwards), captures the provisional ways in which people modify their local environment. Wentworth captures the surprisingly aesthetic qualities of surfaces and materials that are at the edge of our field of vision, or literally underfoot. The title of this work - which has recently been added to the British Council Collection - refers to the notes and doodles made by readers in the margins of a text; it celebrates the abstract geometrical design of a cracked cafe floor;

    Great but could be Epic
    If you’re looking for a solid edger for sidewalks and driveways, this is a great tool. It’s powerful, well-built, easy to assemble, and simple to use. For edging, I would definitely recommend it. However, I wouldn’t recommend it as a true trencher. I bought it for both purposes but mainly needed it for trenching. The maximum cutting depth is only about 1.5 inches, which isn’t deep enough for most garden borders or running cable. In my opinion, a real trencher should be able to reach at least 3 inches deep. The limitation comes down to the blade size and guard design. WORX could improve this model with a larger blade guard and additional wheel depth settings. If they released a version capable of 3–3.25 inch trenching depth, it would really stand out in the market. Overall, it’s an excellent edger, just not a true trencher.

    Works Great!
    Much quieter than I was expecting. Lawn had needed this for years, I regained 6"-10" of driveway/sidewalk back. Makes the rest of the neighborhood look bad LOL Only the cleaning up wore me out, but it should be much easier next time.

    Very light and effective trimmer
    Style: 20V String Trimmer Kit
    I’m very well designed trimmer that cuts through grass and weeds very easily. The battery lasts about 45 minutes. It’s fairly light and easy to use. I think it’s also a pretty good value.

    Perfect trimmer for my yard.
    Style: 20V String Trimmer Kit
    Works great. Love all the features for the price. I can get two yard trims out of 1 battery charge which is fine for me.

    Nice unit, but poor user's manual
    Style: 20V String Trimmer Kit
    The unit itself is very nice. Seems sturdily built and is lightweight. Adjustable length works well and locks securely. I question the need for two speed control, but their claim is the lower speed saves battery power. I am not sure how much of a difference it makes and changing speeds in use is not very intuitive. A better choice would be an in between speed which is permanent to get better cutting and a little longer battery life. My annoyance comes from the lack of much information about the "automatic line feed" and how it operates. The fact is, the user's manual is bare bones for user information. The booklet is small, is divided into three languages, and all of the "icon" diagrams to explain things are so small you need a magnifying glass. I wanted to know what triggers the line feed, how it knows to lengthen it, and how it knows to stop feeding. None of that information is in the book or on the Black and Decker website videos. Aside from that, the unit is built well and should be durable. It is a good value for the money.
