In the sequel to Inside Out (2015), the mind of the now teenage Riley Andersen discovers new emotions. Who is Anxiety? 
In the sequel to Inside Out (2015), the mind of the now teenage Riley Andersen discovers new emotions. In addition to the already known Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, which once predominated in the girl’s control center, the feared Anxiety arrives, along with Envy, Ennui, Embarrassment, and Nostalgia. As she prepares for high school, Riley’s original emotions work together, placing her memories in a new space to help build her character, resulting in the creation of threads that express her inner self. The emotions are shocked to meet Anxiety, one of the new emotions in Riley's mind, leaving the new teenager prepared for all possible negative outcomes, with meticulously organized lists and plans to ensure Riley never makes a mistake, thinking ten steps ahead and unashamed to share the worst-case scenarios. Anxiety knows there’s a lot to handle but feels that pushing Riley towards perfection means getting much closer to achieving her goals. Personifying feelings of nervousness, tension, stress, and the like, her main job is to protect Riley from things she cannot see and to plan for the future. 

Exploring the Anxiety statue: 
Dressed in a high-neck, striped orange and white wool sweater, burnt sienna pants, and well-laced dark brown military boots, the personification of a new emotion arrives in the mind of a young girl. She reveals herself with orange skin, a face resembling a little frog, and a hairstyle like a volcanic eruption. The energetic figure with green eyes smiles and presents herself with open arms to hold her six luggage bags, standing on a base that emulates the control room floor in Riley's mind, featuring the colorful glass spheres known as Memory Orbs, where her memories are stored.
