12-Ton 6" Universal Lift Pad* "6 inch" refers to the diameter of the axle, not the Lift Pad. The Safe Jack 6 inch Universal Lift Pad is best used under rounded surfaces up to 6 inches in diameter, such as the axles of semi trucks and trailers. Its slim design makes for easy placement, and it's designed to integrate seamlessly with our Jack Extensions. By utilizing Safe Jack's Lift Pads, safety is greatly increased compared to the small contact area of your bottle jack's saddle.

The Safe Jack 6-inch Universal Lift Pad is best used under rounded surfaces up to 6 inches in diameter, such as the axles of semi-trucks and trailers. Its slim design makes for easy placement, and it's designed to integrate seamlessly with our Jack Extensions. By utilizing Safe Jack's Lift Pads, safety is greatly increased compared to the small contact area of your bottle jack's saddle. The pad offers expansive load support, distributing weight over a broader surface area. This augmented contact area bolsters stability and minimizes load force on the lift point. Moreover, the pad's size and configuration diminish the likelihood of slipping or tipping while jacking against a rounded surface. Cradle width is 6 inches and cradle depth is 3 inches.

Safe Jack utilizes the Extension Screw Collar to create a secure engagement for the Extensions and Lift Pads, as well as to maximize the available stroke to an additional 1.5 inches. These premade Extension Screw Collars are measured specifically for the bottle jack brands we carry. If you have your own bottle jack you wish to use instead, you may need to purchase a Custom Extension Screw Collar. If you opt out of purchasing a Custom Extension Screw Collar altogether, the adapters may still work, but you will not achieve the additional 1.5 inches of stroke. The 12-ton adapters will fit over a bottle jack saddle diameter of 1.25 inches - 1.75 inches (31.75 mm - 44.45 mm.) If the hydraulic cylinder (ram) is significantly smaller than this, we advise against using the adapters without an Extension Screw Collar, as the point of engagement will be unstable.

    As Advertised.

    The boysenberry color is pretty. The Retrospec mat is odor-free, 7/8” thick (so close enough), dense, and non-slip on my wood floor. I wanted the density to cushion pressure points whilst performing various core exercises and general stretching on the floor. It works well for my purpose. I agree with other commenters, the 1” thick mat is too unstable for yoga. That said, the slight instability makes this mat useful for developing balance and core stability by balancing on uneven surfaces, similar to the benefits of walking on grass or trails. The mat is easily nicked by long nails (human and animal) rocks, sticks etc. so pay attention to where you set it up; however not a deal-breaker for my use. I originally looked at the BalanceFrom GoCloud mat because it is the mat that appears in several online reviews with a link to Amazon. However, once on Amazon, I noticed remarkable similarities between the GoCloud and Retrospec reviews. I suspect both mats are identical just with a different brand name and sold by different companies. I ultimately went with the Retrospec mat because the Retrospec is sold and shipped by Amazon so the benefits and protections of “Amazon Prime”, including free returns, apply. The GoCloud mat could be returned however according to the fine print, if the return wasn’t due to Seller’s error the return might be subject to a restocking fee. One of the most objectionable review comments common to both brands had to do with the mat having a terrible, lingering odor. I was willing to take a chance and order it, but would have returned it if it had a bad odor. I did not want to pay a restocking fee so went with the Retrospec mat sold and shipped by Amazon. One exception is Amazon Prime offers the GoCloud in black only. I didn’t want black because I expect to occasionally use it outside in the Florida sun and it will get really hot.
