Janelle Penner — "Blooming Thoughts XI no Words". This work exemplifies a contemporary revival of botanical illustration, drawing from the tradition of late 19th and early 20th-century naturalist art while embracing a modern, minimalist sensibility. Penner's composition is structured around a central, asymmetrical floral arrangement, where the mason jar serves as a humble vessel that grounds the piece in a vernacular American aesthetic. The visual structure relies on a delicate balance between the organic forms of the flowers and the geometric containment of the jar, creating a harmonious interplay of natural and man-made elements. The color palette, though restrained, employs a strategic use of saturated red and yellow to create focal points that draw the viewer's eye, while the surrounding greens and blues provide a soft, cohesive frame. The technique, characterized by clean, expressive lines and subtle textural details, suggests a hand-drawn quality that contrasts with the mechanical precision of digital reproduction. Historically, this work aligns with the American folk art tradition, particularly in its use of the mason jar as a symbol of rural life and domesticity. However, Penner's approach is distinctly contemporary, eschewing the hyper-realism of earlier botanical studies in favor of a stylized, evocative representation. The piece is not merely a depiction of flora but a meditation on simplicity, memory, and the quiet beauty of everyday objects, making it a compelling example of how traditional motifs can be reimagined for a modern audience. For more art by Janelle Penner click here.

Fluff this in the dryer and this is the perfect pillow!
I bought throw pillows from this same brand and was disappointed until I read a tip in the reviews to place them in the dryer on fluff for about 20 minutes. That did the trick and one saved me after a rotator cuff injury. I used it for months to prop my arm up and prevent pain in my shoulder. I loved it so much I decided to see if this brand made a pillow for sleeping and was excited to find they did! This one took two rounds in the dryer on fluff, but I couldn't believe how soft and fluffy it got. I have been getting the best sleep ever since. If you get this pillow, I highly suggest throwing it in the dryer. It makes a huge difference!

Comfortable
This is the fluffiest pillow I have ever bought. I bought it for my 5 year old. He is extremely happy with it and makes him feel like he finally has a big boy pillow that supports him when he sleeps. I might buy one for myself. Defiantly a good purchase.

Fabulous
This is a fabulous pillow. I love it. I recommended wholeheartedly. It is however, large larger than I was expecting. Fortunately, I had a large pillowcase that fits it.

Nice pillows but they are too fluffy for me. They hurt my neck.
