This is not just a quick intro to DNS, Expert Instructor Chris Avants @RockstarWiFi takes students through a thorough understanding of the Domain Name System architecture for both public and private domain management. Learn about potential issues with your own DNS deployment before you fall into some of the common traps with properly managing an Enterprise Domain for your organization. Learn to identify numerous security threats related to DNS including Man-In-the-Middle Attacks, Hijacking, Tunneling, DNS Reflection, Name Injection, and others. The lessons are rounded out with common DNS Troubleshooting tools, then the Discovery labs begin providing examples of working with various DNS servers to meet a business objective, analyze DNS packets, and learn common hacking techniques using DNS as an attack vector.
