This beautiful ring is made from Natural Hawaiian Koa Wood inlaid in Cobalt. This Ring Comes With 14K Yellow Plated Inside So the Metal is Two Tone. Cobalt is a heavier, tough metal that does not tarnish and scratch resistant. The wood comes with a layer of resin which makes the ring waterproof.

Laser engravings are for the inside of the ring ONLY. Once an item has been engraved it cannot be exchanged or returned.

The Koa tree produces wood that is regarded as one of the most elegant and exotic of Hawaii's native woods and possesses ancient significance, giving the ring a special meaning. Recognized as one of the highest quality textured woods in the world, the use of Koa wood creates a ring that is light weight, comfortable, and brilliantly unique.

What is Koa?
In the Hawaiian language Koa means brave, bold, fearless and warrior.
Koa or Acacia Koa is a large tree, typically attaining a height of 15-25m (49-82ft) and a spread of 6-12m (20-39ft). In deep volcanic ash, a Koa tree can reach a height of 30m (98ft), a circumference of 6m (20ft), and a spread of 38m (125ft). It is one of the fastest-growing Hawaiian trees, capable of reaching 6-9m (20-30ft) in five years on a good site.

Beautiful book for children

My children have two of Anno's books, this one as well as Anno's Italy. As an adult, I find the books beautiful in a very clean and simple way. The illustrations in Anno's Counting Book have a very classic look, and there are no words at all. I'm always surprised that my kids continue to request this book at bedtime, since there is really no story. The idea is pretty simple: there are 12 scenes, and scene number one has one of each item. Scene two has two of each item, etc. It took us a minute to realize that the 12 scenes also represent the 12 months of the year. What makes the book work is really the simplicity and universality of the illustrations. It's great for younger kids in particular. My three year old just recently started understanding what numbers and counting really mean, so this book is a great way to continue developing his number sense. My five year old gets excited to pick items on each page to count. He's convinced he's going to find the wrong number of items on one of the pages (though he hasn't yet). My seven year old has mostly lost interest at this point.

Start using it as a baby word book, and it will last as a joy throughout early childhood. Not every baby book must be a board book. Teaching children to turn pages gently is easy to do and adds to the amazing, shared experience.
