As indicated by its title, the following study examines the pressures upon, and the reactions of, Hungarian Jewry during the period 1848-1945. Particular attention is allocated to the Holocaust process, which was inaugurated in Hungary by the Antisemitic White Terror of 1919. In order to analyse the dilemmas and options confronting Hungarian Jewish leaders, and to comprehend their consequent responses during this epoch, the book appraises the "Jewish Question" in Hungary in broad historical context. This approach is essential to understanding why, for example, Hungary was the first European country after World War I to introduce Antisemitic legislation (the Numerus Clausus of 1920) yet was one of the last countries in the Nazi domain to deport her Jewish citizens.

No single volume can wholly engage, much less accomplish, such monumental objectives. Consequently, some significant matters - particularly the situation of provincial Jews, and the well-traversed courage of Raoul Wallenberg - are mentioned en passant, research focusing on Jewish leaders and the situation in Budapest. This choice is justified on the basis that the hierarchical Jewish leadership was concentrated in the capital, with policy flowing from Budapest to the subordinate provinces. Furthermore, in contradistinction to the fate of Budapest's Jewish community, the German Occupation of 19 March 1944 sealed the destiny of Hungary's provincial Jews in a swift and virtually unopposed manner.

Clear display
Style: Wi-Fi, Size: 128GB, Color: Blue, Configuration: Without AppleCare+
I got this to replace an old iPad Pro. It does everything my old pro did, except for having a smaller screen. Good value and set up and migration from old iPad was super easy. Good battery life and so far playing games on it haven't been an issue

New Ipad
Style: Wi-Fi, Size: 256GB, Color: Yellow, Configuration: Without AppleCare+
Nice size with a nice clear picture. Replaced a very old iPad. Not all apps and things transferred like the iPhone. But very manageable with a little time. So far I am pleased with this iPad.

Its Great! Except one tiny detail
Style: Wi-Fi, Size: 512GB, Color: Pink, Configuration: Without AppleCare+, Style: Wi-Fi, Size: 512GB, Color: Pink, Configuration: Without AppleCare+
Ipad works great, easy to set up and everything transferred from the cloud from a backup I had (thank god because my other ipad is completely dead). Everything is in order except they put the magnets in the wrong spot xD. It doesnt matter functionality wise and I feel its more hassle to exchange than its worth so I am going to keep the iPad. With the case its in it doesnt really matter because theres a spot already for the pen. 4/5 stars

Great iPad, so much faster and stable than our old one (5th generation). Totally worth the price to upgrade.
