Matte Black/Prizm Torch

When you're coming in hot and trying to spot the landing, the last thing you need are a set of blinkers obscuring the view. The Oakley Flight Path L Goggles pack a semi-rimless design paired up with Ridgelock EV technology to increase your overall field of view by a massive 19% over their previous flagship oversized model. And with contrast enhancing Prizm™ lenses that ensure razor sharp optics in any weather, you're not only seeing bigger, but seeing better.

Frame

O Matter® Chassis – Flexible O Matter® frame conforms to your face and remains flexible even in extreme cold.

Semi Rimless Frame Design – When used in racing disciplines, the semi-rim frame is designed to absorb and protect against the impacts of gate slap and provides a dampening ef fect when contacting the helmet. The semi-rim design is also streamlined for uninterrupted airflow and reduced drag.

Ridgelock EV Technology – As an evolution of Ridgelock, Oakley created an extended field-of-view (FOV) by hiding the inner lens gasket within the frame and creating unobstructed visibility throughout the lens. This results in 19% greater overall FOV and a massive 35% improvement in upward FOV (when compared to original Canopy).

Helmet Compatibility – Oakley snow goggles are designed to work in harmony with a wide range of helmet styles, with outrigger mounts that distribute pressure evenly across the goggle chassis and silicone beaded inner straps that stay securely in place. 360˚ frame venting assures optimum airflow when worn with a helmet.

Lens

Prizm™ Lens – Developed with military and shooting objectives in mind, Oakley's Prizm™ lens technology blocks strategic wavelengths along the color spectrum to maximize contrast between colors.

HDO® Lens Technology – HDO® maximizes clarity and impact resistance, and gives you razor sharp clarity at all angles of view. HDO® lenses provide 100% UV filtering and the best impact resistance in the business.

F3™ Anti Fog – F3™ anti fog coating on inner lens absorbs moisture and eliminates haze.

Interchangeable Lens – All lenses are easily interchangeable, allowing you to pick your favorite Prizm™ lens for any condition.

Strap

Wide 5mm Adjustable Strap with Silicone Lining for a Secure Fit

Face Foam

Triple Layer Polar Fleece Foam – Moisture wicking triple-layer polar fleece foam assures all-day comfort.

Features

Glasses Compatible – Discrete frame notches at temples provide compatibility with most prescription eyewear.

A Rough, Rocky Start
Format: Kindle
Modern Africa started after a long rough and rocky start. This book describes the trials each district has had to face to gain their freedom from Europe and what life was like in each district under the control of foreigners. As WWI began, many of Africa's districts were effected, some were forced to supply fighting men, some had their resources used to support the war effort, and some had fighting in their area. When WWII started Africa found that not much had changed. However, as Africa gained its freedom and became self governing internal wars broke out between the different tribes. Well, you will have to read the book to find out how that turned out. This book covers all that and so much more. It all written in an easy to read and understand format that Captivating History is known for and as always they do a great job of explaining everything. This is a great book and recommend you giving it a read.

An Overview of an Oft-Overlooked History
Format: Kindle
Depending on your ethnicity, you may, or may not, know a lot about Africa. This book summarizes the Continent’s history, highlighting the major events and occurrences that contributed its current geopolitical state. Africa today is made up of 54 countries, 2000 languages, 20% of the Earth's land mass, and 1.4 billion people. It therefore should play an important part in the World, today (which it does, but one that rarely makes the headlines in USA TV or newspaper coverage.) The Author covers, Slavery, European Colonization, Africa’s part in World Wars One & Two, and the various Religious histories going back to the time of Christ. Since the author is American, there is a portion devoted to the USA’s main relationships with different African Nations. All this culminates in a surveillance of the numerous African Civil Wars of the last 50 years leading to the reality of the current geopolitical scene. The section on Dictators and Revolutionaries is limited to one of each. I’m guessing there could have been more. Still, if you are looking for an overview of Africa as it is today and what contributed to its present situation, this is an excellent beginning point.

OK short read
Format: Kindle
Reasonable short read. Have to doubt the facts since the author writes FDR was alive in the 1950's and he leaves out the Haitian genocide in his narrative.

Good general snapshot
Format: Paperback
This book does not serve as an academic textbook, which may not meet your specific needs. For more detailed information or clarification, it would be beneficial to access online resources or consider purchasing a college textbook. It met my needs.
