Reproduction of Bright Life III by Mary Urban
Mary Urban — "Bright Life III" is a compelling example of contemporary abstract expressionism, where the artist leverages a vibrant and dynamic color palette to evoke an immediate sense of joy and vitality. The work aligns with the tradition of Color Field Painting, a movement that emerged in the mid-20th century, emphasizing large areas of flat, solid color to create an immersive visual experience. Urban's application of paint, characterized by broad, gestural strokes and layered textures, departs from the more rigid formalism of early Color Field artists, introducing a sense of spontaneity and organic movement that is distinctly modern. The composition is built on an asymmetric balance, with dominant forms of yellow and pink on the left and right creating a visual rhythm that guides the viewer's eye across the canvas, while the expansive light blue background provides a serene counterpoint, allowing the vibrant colors to pop with clarity. The palette, dominated by warm yellows and pinks against a cool, luminous blue, is masterfully orchestrated to create a high-energy contrast that is both visually arresting and emotionally uplifting. The use of negative space is deliberate and effective, with the light blue fields acting as breathing room, enhancing the vibrancy of the forms and contributing to a sense of openness and light. This work is situated within a broader art-historical context of post-war American abstraction, yet it transcends mere stylistic homage by injecting a contemporary sensibility of playfulness and accessibility. Its interpretive significance lies in its ability to translate complex emotional states—specifically, the exhilaration and optimism of a bright day—into a universally resonant visual language. The piece is not just a study in color and form; it is a celebration of life's inherent brightness, inviting the viewer to momentarily step into a world where joy is the primary medium. For more art by Mary Urban click here.

So far, so good!
Pattern Name: 3 Large balls, Pattern Name: 3 Large balls
Boomer an 8 yr old male Chesapeake Bay Retriever, 105#. When Boomer isn’t duck hunting, he is all about THE BALL. He chews them apart like I own stock. DAY 1 : I’m impressed with the Mankoda . It’s still in one piece. Barely any show of wear. Boomer is carrying it around like a prize, definitely having “a ball”. Needless to say he is loving it. The bright colors are easy to see in the yard. We haven’t played outside so I can’t comment on the bounce. I got the three pack and I feel it’s a reasonable price. I ordered the large ball because Boomer is a big boy. The ball its self is foamy soft to the touch but very firm . Has no smell at least that I can detect . It has little indents on the surface, I agree (with the info) that it will help rub against my boys teeth (brushing time reduced!). You can see them in the picture (the indents not the teeth). The divots you see are from Boomer. But no real damage. I’ll keep updating for a while.

Quality ball - Heeler approved
Pattern Name: 4 Medium balls
My heeler loves this ball He is a huge baller and this balls holds up. Bounces great. Takes a chewing. It’s also lightweight, which is good, because sometimes my aim is bad. The 2.5” is big enough to not roll under the couch. Awesome. The best part is, he has a stash of replacements ready for when he loses it.

Best dog ball ever!
Pattern Name: 3 Large balls
We have a border collie and an Australian cattle dog. Both are obsessed with balls and love to play catch. They would destroy all tennis ball including ones for dogs within minutes. These have lasted over a year! They have some teeth marks but still work great! I have just bought a second set as they still tend to get lost from time to time.

These are worth the money!! BUY THEM!!
Pattern Name: 3 Large balls
These balls are amazing if you have a dog that likes to chew! We have 2 medium sized breeds that are heavy heavy chewers and they get so excited when we dig these out from under the couch or tv stand. Most "chew toys" have to find their way to the garbage within a few days. We've had these a little over 2 weeks now and they are holding up great. There are little teeth marks in them but no chunks ripped out and seem to be holding up great. They are a little squishy so I was worried they would get destroyed but nope. They are a little bigger than a tennis ball so I don't have to worry about them choking on them. JUST BUY THEM!!
