Traditionally used in Chinese medicine, these Mallow Extract capsules help to moisten and unblock bowels, clear heat, and increase urination. Made at our licensed facility in Quebec, Canada, each capsule contains 400mg of dried leaf powder and 50mg extract of 10:1 – equivalent to 500mg dried fruit of Malva verticillata (Mallow). The recommended dose is 2 capsules 3 times daily. We recommend drinking plenty of fluids during intake of this product. We do not recommend for daily use, occasional use only. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Use with caution in people with loose stools from spleen deficiency. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if exterior security seal is broken. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist, worsen or if new symptoms develop; prior to use: if you are taking prescription medications; if you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever; if you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding or have failed to defecate following the use of a laxative product; if you are taking medications which inhibit peristaltic movement. Do not use if you have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorders, diabetes, edema or if you are taking products containing diuretics.
