Each Woodpeckers T-Square consists of a laser-engraved aluminum blade matched to a precision machined beam. The two critical components are secured together with stainless steel screws. A slight offset between the holes in the blade and the threads in the beam put the two under constant tension. This design delivers an angular precision of ±.02 degrees (.004" per foot). It delivers top-notch performance yet allows the blade to be replaced should it get damaged.
The edges of the blade are beveled 30°, putting the scale markings directly against your stock, eliminating parallax error. The scales are laser-engraved to a tolerance of ±.004" total accumulated error. The white engraving on the famous “Woodpeckers Red” anodized finish delivers a very readable contrast, even for older eyes or poor lighting conditions. Each T-Square includes a wall-mountable Rack-It™ to keep your Precision T-Square right in plain sight and always ready for the next project.
Like all Woodpeckers products, this T-Square is proudly machined and carefully inspected in the Strongsville, OH facility, just south of Cleveland.
