We have long supported the spirits of St. George, based in Alameda, California. They are one of America’s first craft distilleries. Lance Winters and Dave Smith are two legendary figures in the distillate world, and their whole portfolio goes strength to strength.“Breaking & Entering American Whiskey is our second release under the Breaking & Entering label. Whereas our gone-but-not-forgotten B&E Bourbon was a bourbon blend, B&E American Whiskey brings together bourbon and rye that head distiller/blender Dave Smith sourced and then blended with some of our own California malt whiskey.
Breaking & Entering American Whiskey is a celebration of the incredible diversity of whiskies made in this country. The blend brings together four grains—rye, corn, barley, wheat—with no one grain being dominant. While we can’t name names, these are whiskies from distilleries with rabid followings. We were lucky to sneak in when we did. Some of the barrels we sourced for B&E would be impossible to get today. But at St. George, we usually aren’t content to leave well enough alone. According to Dave, “As good as the sourced barrels were, it was only when I started blending them with our own malt whiskey that I realized we were on to something truly worthy of the Breaking & Entering mantle.”
When we launched the B&E label in 2011 with our Breaking & Entering Bourbon, we deliberately chose the name in order to be transparent about the fact that whiskey made under the B&E label uses barrels we pilfered from other distilleries. We also wanted to distinguish our barrel-thieving side hobby from our own longstanding in-house whiskey program (which began in 1996 when we started laying down barrels for our St. George Single Malt Whiskey, and subsequently added to with our Baller Single Malt Whiskey).
On the nose, you'll find toffee, candied orange peel, cinnamon, and cherry bark. On the palate, rich pecan pastry, bittersweet chocolate, fruit preserves, and spice. Enjoy Breaking & Entering in classic whiskey cocktails: Old Fashioneds, Manhattans, Whiskey Sours, Sazeracs, and even Vieux Carres are wonderful showcases for this whiskey’s dynamic flavor profile.”

Great grinder! Fun to use. :)
Color: Silver
Wow, very well constructed, grinds all sorts of things perfectly. Completely happy. Looks great, super easy to use, nice size, little glass jar, very quiet, love that it's true ceramic. Handle comes off easily to store. Nice! :)

Great coffee grinder!
Color: Silver
Amazing product. Easy to use and has different grades of grinding. Zero noise compared with an electric grinder and more control of the results (consistent). His size and weight make it portable and easy to carry.

Quite good as a start grinder
Color: Silver
Very good burr grinder with very functional adjustments. Holds the perfect amount in 1 go for my pour over setup. My only critique is that is has 3 unconnected hopper sections that are quite small and hard to hit. I have to be very careful to not spill and one can fill before the other 2 causing some difficulties closing the crank, but it just takes some self adjustments to get around. Overall I'm very pleased with it for the price.

Nice Grinder at a Great Price
Color: Black
I bought this to use primarily as a travel grinder and found that it is great for every day use. It is not meant for large amounts but it is perfect for single, smaller brewing situations. The grind selection worked well and I "dialed" the proper ground size for my single sized pour over coffee maker.
