The American Blade Works Slip Joint is a modern take on a traditional format. Michael Martin CNC-machines every component in-house at his Weaverville, North Carolina shop, including the titanium scales, the MagnaCut Wharncliffe blade, and the backspring. The result is a slip joint that carries the precision of a production knife and the intentionality of a custom. The 2.25" hollow ground Wharncliffe blade is heat-treated and cryogenically tempered for maximum edge retention, and the stonewash finish gives it a practical, hard-carry character. Phosphor bronze washers and a 416 stainless pivot deliver smooth, consistent pull strength. This version features the Frag milling pattern on the titanium scales. The fragmentation-style texture creates an aggressive, multi-directional grip surface that maximizes traction on the titanium scales.

Note from Lone Star Knife & Supply: The Frag pattern is the most aggressive-looking handle in the ABW Slip Joint lineup. Multi-directional texture, maximum traction, same MagnaCut Wharncliffe and 2.2 oz as the rest of the family. If you want a slip joint that looks as capable as it performs, this is the version.

Why This Slip Joint Stands Out

  • 2.25" CPM MagnaCut Wharncliffe Blade, 3D milled hollow ground, heat-treated and cryogenically tempered
  • Frag Milled Titanium Scales, machined in-house at ABW's North Carolina shop
  • Frag Pattern provides the most aggressive grip texture in the ABW Slip Joint lineup
  • Stonewash finish on both blade and scales for a cohesive hard-carry aesthetic
  • Phosphor Bronze Washers and 416 Stainless Pivot Hardware
  • Slip Joint with Half Stop, non-locking and legal everywhere
  • 2.2 oz, one of the lightest MagnaCut pocket knives available
  • Every component except screws and bearings made in-house at ABW
  • Made in the USA (Weaverville, North Carolina)

Reliable and Essential Power Steering Fluid for Honda Vehicles
I recently purchased the Honda 08206-9002PE Power Steering Fluid to top off the power steering reservoir in my Honda Accord. The process was straightforward: I drained the old fluid and replaced it with this Honda-specific fluid. The difference was immediately noticeable. The fluid is designed to meet Honda’s stringent specifications, which is crucial for maintaining proper steering performance and longevity of the power steering components. After adding the new fluid, the steering response was noticeably smoother and quieter. There was a reduction in the whining noise that sometimes occurs with old or low-quality fluid. The pack of three is very convenient, offering a good value and ensuring that you have extra on hand for future maintenance. The bottles are well-sealed and easy to pour, with no spills or messes. One of the benefits of using the Honda 08206-9002PE fluid is that it’s formulated to prevent foam and protect against corrosion, which helps in extending the life of your steering system. It’s always reassuring to use a product that is specifically recommended by the manufacturer. Overall, Honda 08206-9002PE Power Steering Fluid is a high-quality product that delivers excellent performance and reliability. It’s a great investment for anyone looking to keep their Honda’s power steering system in top condition. Highly recommended for its effectiveness and value!

Honda Genuine, the good stuff
Genuine power steering fluid, useful for a multitude of Honda power steering systems. Recommended !! Used on my 2009 civic LX, bottles can leak slightly at the lid so be careful after opening.
