- Lapisan anti air dan minyak pada elemen lensa depan memungkinkan pengambilan gambar di lingkungan luar ruangan yang keras, sementara konstruksi tahan debu dan percikan air menjaga elemen internal tetap terlindungi.
Desain Optik Presisi
- Sigma menggabungkan empat elemen asferis dua sisi dan satu elemen Special Low Dispersion (SLD) untuk memastikan kejernihan dari bukaan lebar f/1.2 hingga seluruh rentang apertur, sekaligus mengurangi ukuran lensa.
- Sebanyak 17 elemen dalam 13 kelompok, serta diafragma bulat 11 bilah untuk bokeh yang ekspresif, menahan aberasi optik termasuk pendaran warna dan garis ganda bahkan pada f/1.2.
- Upaya khusus telah dilakukan untuk mengembangkan ketahanan terhadap cahaya latar, meminimalkan potensi silau lensa dan bayangan ganda.
Sistem Fokus yang Ditingkatkan
- Tidak lagi hanya untuk fotografi, elemen lensa telah dioptimalkan untuk mengurangi perubahan fokus (focus breathing), menjadikannya pilihan yang tepat untuk penggunaan video profesional.
- Didukung oleh sistem fokus HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) ganda dari Sigma untuk autofokus yang cepat dan senyap tanpa mengorbankan portabilitas.
