INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to the Prepare & Conduct Stocktakes for Inventory Control course. This course only includes a challenge assessment designed to assess your knowledge and skills required to demonstrate competence in preparing for and conducting stocktakes by confirming scope and systems, allocating and sequencing work across zones, applying risk controls, counting and verifying stock accurately, and then documenting, reporting and reconciling results in line with workplace procedures and inventory control requirements.

Preparing and conducting stocktakes for inventory control involves completing structured counting and verification activities that ensure inventory records accurately reflect physical stock on hand. Stocktakes can involve full counts or cyclical counts and are completed within defined work zones, schedules and system requirements, often while normal operations continue. This work is important because inventory accuracy underpins ordering decisions, customer service reliability, warehouse efficiency and financial integrity, and because unaddressed variances can lead to stockouts, overstocking, shrinkage, mispicks and operational disruption.

The course assessment focuses on your ability to confirm stocktake scope, prepare the resources needed to complete the count, and work within allocated tasks, zones and procedures to achieve an accurate result within the planned schedule. You will be required to demonstrate how you identify hazards and implement risk controls prior to and during stocktake activities, and how you verify inventory data and apply appropriate counting methods so results are reliable, traceable and suitable for inventory control decision-making.

By successfully completing this course assessment, you will have demonstrated that you can confirm stocktake scope and system requirements, prepare resources and work allocations appropriately, manage hazards and apply risk controls, complete accurate counts using approved methods, verify system data and identify variances, document and report discrepancies correctly, relocate and correct stock location issues safely, reconcile inventory records to physical stock using workplace processes, complete and secure documentation with required sign-off, maintain housekeeping and safe work practices throughout stocktake activities, and respond to operational contingencies effectively—confirming your readiness to prepare and conduct stocktakes for inventory control.

TOPICS COVERED IN THIS ASSESSMENT:

This course assessment is based on the following topics:

1.    Identify stocktake scope by confirming goods to be counted and the inventory system(s) to be used.

2.    Prepare stocktake resources by selecting required equipment, record keeping tools, and inventory data sources.

3.    Confirm allocated stocktake tasks, zones, and work requirements in line with workplace procedures.

4.    Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures for stocktake activities in accordance with workplace procedures.

5.    Plan and sequence stocktake work activities to meet the planned schedule in a time-effective manner.

6.    Conduct stocktaking counts in accordance with workplace policies and procedures, including full and cyclical counts.

7.    Verify inventory data accuracy by confirming system information prior to and during counting activities.

8.    Count stock levels accurately using appropriate counting methods and document results to required standards.

9.    Compare inventory data to physical stock levels to identify variances and confirm discrepancies.

10. Record, document, and report stock discrepancies to relevant personnel in accordance with workplace procedures.

11. Identify stock stored in inappropriate locations, relocate goods safely, and adjust stock records as required.

12. Reconcile inventory data to match warehouse stock using approved reconciliation techniques and workplace processes.

13. Complete stocktake documentation accurately, ensure correct record management, and obtain required sign-off from relevant personnel.

14. Apply housekeeping standards during stocktake activities to maintain safe, orderly work zones and prevent errors.

15. Manage operational contingencies by adapting to site layout, obstacles, zones, equipment differences, and common stocktake problems using workplace systems, communications technology, and relevant legislative and workplace requirements.

Perfect for small senior dogs!
Size: Extra Small (Pack of 1), Color: Pink
So I actually bought this for my senior Bolonka. She has a neurological disorder that does not allow her to have hard bones or treats, plus I am trying to protect her teeth for as long as I can. This is a GREAT toy. I like to fill up the middle with yogurt or peanut butter and things she can lick instead of bite into. This is the PERFECT size for her. She likes to play with it even without a treat on the inside. She just carries it around the house , as its not heavy at all, and throws it around, it is too cute! It is not loud at all, the only noise that comes out is if shes got a ton of saliva and her teeth rub against it. I just pulled it off the packaging, washed it, and it was ready to go. It will last forever with my baby because she doesn't chew hard so I am unsure about the durability for bigger pups or dogs who are heavy chewers. I am so glad I got this for her and I would HIGHLY recommend it!

Good product misleading size.
Size: Small (Pack of 1), Color: Blue
Really disappointed about the size. It is way too small for my berniedoodle. He still likes it for play but I’m afraid he might swallow it. It’s very sturdy tho and is chew resistant. I guess I didn’t pay attention to the size. Looked big in the picture.

Must have item for dogs!!!
Size: Medium (Pack of 1), Color: Pink
The puppy kong is a must have item for every new puppy owner. Super cute!! They usually will last forever (unless you have a super chewer then you need the black one). Great value!! Keeps the puppy busy and entertained. Especially when frozen. Google and the Kong website have tons of recipes. I tend to stick with a little bit of kibble some mashed banana and peanut butter. Also, good options are jars or pouches of baby food just make sure you check the label to ensure there is nothing toxic to dogs in it. More options are kibble soaked in water or broth, pumpkin puree, green beans and carrots. I could go on forever. If you own a dog, a Kong is a must have! I always have two ready to go. And they are dishwasher safe!
