Ocean Jasper is defined by circular orb-like patterns within a silicon dioxide matrix in the quartz family. The color palette for this mineral includes pink and purple tones, with orb patterns that may appear alongside greens, browns, blues, yellows, greys, whites, or reds in other samples. This piece originates from Madagascar, Marovato, Ambolobozo, Analalava District, Sofia Region, Mahajanga Province along the northeastern coast, and was mined from the base of a cliff accessible by boat at low tide. It has been polished and given a twist flame-carved form, enhancing surface contrast while maintaining natural geometry.
