With an easy, low profile installation, the MrCool® DIY® Series 12k BTU Ceiling Cassette provides efficient heating and cooling that is perfect for any space, making it one of the most versatile ceiling units ever. The cassette is offered in multi-zone options. Unlike other ceiling cassettes, the MrCool® DIY® Series 12k BTU Ceiling Cassette doesn’t have strict installation requirements in less than ideal locations and can be recessed between all types of joists on 16 inch center, including pre-manufactured I-joists. Since it doesn’t require ductwork or wall space, it is perfect for both new construction or retrofits.
The cassette works with the MrCool® DIY® Quick Connect® line set which comes precharged with R-410A refrigerant. The No-Vac® Coupler can be used to increase the length of the line set if needed. In addition to the many operational modes and quiet operation, the cassette features swing technology and an Elevation function that lowers the filter panel for easy maintenance of the air filter. All of these features can be controlled with the included remote. For peace of mind, the cassette offers a limited lifetime warranty along with a 7-year compressor warranty and 5-year parts warranty.
