“I've always been chagrined that no one understood that our songs were love songs,” OXBOW vocalist and lyricist Eugene Robinson says while reflecting on the band’s output from the last 35 years. Love may not have been the most obvious muse in their earlier work, but the subject has never been more apparent than on their eighth studio album and first new music in six years, Love’s Holiday, due out July, 21 2023 on Ipecac Recordings. “But now listening to a record of exclusively love songs I can see how no one saw that,” Robinson admits. “My problem is how I think about love as this affects how I feel about it, instead of the other way around.”
The band again worked with Grammy-winning engineer and co-producer Joe Chiccarelli (White Stripes, My Morning Jacket). Love’s Holiday is the third OXBOW album recorded with Chiccarelli, and the band members uniformly state that their trust in him allowed the album to venture into even more inviting directions, featuring guest appearances Roger Joseph Manning Jr. (Jellyfish) and Lingua Ignota. I’ve been buying this Banana Boat sunscreen with SPF50 for a while and I wish I found it years ago because it makes putting on sunscreen so easy. Been buying it for family members as well! The pump is amazing—I keep one in my bathroom and one in my bedroom so I never forget. It’s a really big bottle so it lasts a long time, and it spreads super easily with no white cast at all, even on my face. The scent is really light and neutral too, which I love.
It just melts into your skin, doesn’t feel sticky, and works for everything—face, hands, arms, legs. It’s one of those products you actually end up using every day because it’s so easy and convenient. I keep repurchasing it for a reason! Highly recommend!

I’ve been using this Banana Boat Sport SPF 50 sunscreen and I really like it. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly without feeling too greasy or heavy on the skin. I also like that it’s water and sweat resistant, which makes it perfect for outdoor activities or beach days.
It provides strong sun protection and I feel confident using it when I’m out in the sun for long periods. The scent is light and not overpowering. Overall, it’s a reliable sunscreen that I would definitely buy again.

Good product, the pump bottle could be better

This is a usual product for me, I like and trust it. It has little smell, spreads on easily and can be washed off without too much trouble. The pump is nice while it works but I take away one star because it leaves about 20% of the product in the bottom of the bottle when the "cone of depression" gets lower than the bottom of the tube that brings the product up. After the pump can no longer effectively pump the product up, I cut the top of the bottle off and dip the rest out with my fingers. I'm not sure what they can do to make it work better but it's inconvenient as it is.
