THTC has teamed up with campaign group Just Stop Oil to produce this limited edition hemp t-shirt, available in a choice of our award-winning natural, black, army green and grey hemp t-shirts.
Hundreds of ordinary people still face potential prison sentences after action with Just Stop Oil in trials that will continue beyond 2026.
Singled out by the UN Special Rapporteur on environmental protest, the UK is an increasingly hostile place to stand up against fossil fuel addicted governments. Legislation including the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022, The Public Order Act of 2023 and 'Henry VIII' powers invoked to ban any protest that causes "anything more than minor" disruption means individuals are being silenced.
in 2024, forty individuals spent time in prison for nonviolent direct action. More will follow. Your support is needed and much appreciated.
Global Warming is Accelerating
• The Earth has already warmed about 1.2°C (2.2°F) since pre-industrial times.
• We’re on track to exceed the 1.5°C target set in the Paris Agreement within the next decade unless drastic cuts in emissions are made.
• Crossing 2°C would lead to much more severe and irreversible changes.
Tipping Points Are Approaching
• Melting permafrost, Amazon rainforest dieback, and ice sheet collapse could trigger self-reinforcing feedback loops.
• Once past certain thresholds, these processes could become unstoppable.
Hemp is probably the most environmentally beneficial crop that can be grown.
