  • HISTORY ASPECTS:
  • The AV-8B+ Harrier II Plus BuNo 164569 operated by VMA-223 at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point represents one of the final generations of the legendary vertical/short takeoff and landing attack aircraft used by the United States Marine Corps. The McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II was developed to provide Marine expeditionary forces with close air support from austere forward bases and amphibious assault ships. The “Plus” variant introduced advanced radar capability, improved avionics, and enhanced night and all-weather combat performance, greatly expanding the Harrier’s operational versatility.
  • VMA-223, known as the “Bulldogs,” has a long and distinguished combat history dating back to World War II. By 2025, the squadron continued operating the AV-8B+ while transitioning toward newer fifth-generation platforms. Aircraft such as BuNo 164569 participated in advanced training exercises, expeditionary readiness deployments, and Marine air-ground integration missions designed to support rapid-response operations worldwide. The Harrier’s unique ability to operate from short runways and amphibious ships made it especially valuable for Marine Corps doctrine focused on flexibility and forward deployment.
  • The AV-8B Harrier family saw extensive combat service in conflicts including the Gulf War, the War in Afghanistan, and the Iraq War. Harriers flew close air support, armed reconnaissance, and strike missions in support of coalition ground forces, often operating from forward-deployed locations closer to combat zones than conventional fighters. The AV-8B+ became respected for its adaptability and ability to deliver precision firepower under demanding battlefield conditions, helping solidify the Harrier’s reputation as one of the most distinctive combat aircraft of the modern era.
  • This 1:72 scale model is a superb tribute to the Marine Corps’ iconic jump jet. Featuring authentic squadron markings and the unmistakable profile of the Harrier, it captures the rugged versatility and combat legacy of this legendary V/STOL aircraft. Perfect for collectors of Marine Corps aviation and modern attack aircraft, this replica makes a striking display centerpiece; add it to your collection today for a powerful symbol of expeditionary air power.

Comic story is great, but actual comic arrived in terrible condition
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Book arrived bent and warped. Same package contained two comics but only this one was warped. The paperback covers are also a centimeter too short width wise on both front and back.

A disappointing "Dark Droids" tie-in.
Format: Paperback
A tie-in miniseries-of-sorts to the main “Dark Droids” event, “Star Wars: Dark Droids: D-Squad” is, unfortunately, all too characteristic of typical comic book event “addendums”: lots of flash, little substance. To be fair, writer Marc Guggenheim does what he can to flesh out the core story, which involves a squad of droids, all of whom are pulled from the various ongoing “Star Wars” titles – forming the titular “D-Squad” – to take on the Scourge threat from the main “Dark Droids” event. The problem is that too much of the series feels like it’s spinning in circles – there’s a frustrating lack of narrative momentum here, and the result is a story that, frustratingly, revs to life only in spurts. Not a terrible comic, but considering the overall quality of the “Dark Droids” event as a whole, a disappointing one.

Extremely Satisfied
This is a gift for my daughter and I looked at it making sure it works base on former reviews. At first the lid wouldn’t close and it was extremely disappointed but my husband laughed and said hold the lid and turn the handle. It then will latch and stay close. So now I’m extremely satisfied lol

Classic Toy That Never Gets Old!
My 8-month-old is absolutely captivated by this Elmo jack-in-the-box! She giggles with anticipation as the "Waltzing Matilda" tune plays, and erupts in laughter when the soft Elmo plush pops out. The sturdy metal box with vibrant Sesame Street designs has held up perfectly through daily play. At 5.25 x 5.25 x 5.5 inches, it's the perfect size for little hands. This timeless toy brings endless joy and smiles—highly recommend for any Elmo-loving baby or toddler!
